Got my B&N copy today with the signed poster. Looks like they still have some for sale so jump on that if you want that. Have been holding off listening to this till I got my copy in. I know what i'm doing tonight! -
I hope the reissue comes with the obi. I have an OG copy that is missing the obi, and it's in pretty good shape, only side a is probably a VG+., rest of it is NM. I paid about $110 for that and Tiny Cities together a few years ago. What I really want is a back up reissue copy of April, my favourite Koz record, so that I don't have to handle my existing copy like it's a precious artifact whenever I want to spin it! I'm on the fence about his new material, I kind of like his rambling.. it can be pretty funny at times, and also pretty deep as well. I still drink the Koz Kool Aid and buy everything he puts on on vinyl. But I guess i'm crazy like that!

I'm surprised these are still available. I remember when Perils sold out in like what... 2 hours? I banged my head against the wall for missing it and stupidly paid $175 to an eBay scalper to get a copy. Little did I know it would be pretty easy to get later. Still kick myself for it. I guess people really aren't digging Koz or this album as much as they did a few years ago.

Nice to see a (kind of) Psytrance thread on here. Since I live in India I grew up around the Psytrance scene especially as I would travel to Goa almost 2-3 times a year since it's pretty close by. I love the mid 90s Psy, but also the dark stuff like Dark Soho, etc. Been to some crazy parties back in the day at Hilltop, Bamboo Forest etc. Discogs is a great place to pick up some Psy on vinyl, i recently got some nice 12" singles and albums (Space Tribe, Logic Bomb, Ninja, etc). I did manage to snag Shpongle's Museum of Consciousness with the lenticular cover, which was pretty rad. Would love to get the earlier releases on vinyl, and of course some old school Infected Mushroom - not really dug much of their stuff after Converting Vegetarians, but their first few releases were top class. I also managed to snag the 12" of possibly my favourite Psy track of all time (the one that got me into the music), Spiritual Healing by Muses Rapt. Will follow this thread with eagerness. Boom!

Received my purple copy from Matador UK yesterday. I ordered a couple of weeks ago but looks like it's sold out on their site now. As usual with most UK companies in my experience, the mailer packing was extremely flimsy with no stiffeners. Album's got a few light creases on it, will give it a spin later today. Hopefully it's not warped. Really beyond me why people in the UK can't pack records properly. -

RECORD FAIR IN UTRECHT HOLLAND?

Lol even though I'm Indian doesn't mean I expect spicy food, in fact I hate spicy food (i'm a bad Indian). I did dine at the Michelin restaurant at the Intercontinental in Amsterdam, which was pretty good. But I was talking more about your run of the mill restaurants on the side streets. Not saying the food was bad at all, just not what I was expecting. The french fries were good though If you have some good recommendations for Non-Michelin star places do let me know, especially European cuisine - will definitely hit them up on my next trip out there. Coming back to the record fair - if you're a first timer when you walk in for the first time it's easy to think you're in the wrong place, since there are a couple of big expos going on in the same venue at the same time. I saw a lot of antiquing going on, along with a comic book expo. I took me a little while to get my bearings and find the section where the record fair was. I can't wait to go back.. hopefully someday soon! For all those going - enjoy!- 23 replies

I loved Holland and I'll definitely keep going back, however as a relatively widespread world traveler, I have to say, the food in Holland is pretty underwhelming.- 23 replies

Yeah I think you could, I thought about it but I didn't try it.. maybe next time. Let me know how your luck turns out! It seemed to me the vendors there were more interested in selling than trading, maybe to lighten the load they would need to carry back. But that being said, if not the vendors, you may find other attendees who might want to pick up some of your stuff but again I'm not sure what the rules are on that.- 23 replies

RECORD FAIR IN UTRECHT HOLLAND?

I went last November for the first time, definitely a bucket list event. You'll definitely need the full day, if not all the days, to go through everything. Lots of stuff mostly in the classic rock genre, especially 60s and 70s Psych/Garage if you're into that, but be weary of skyrocketing prices! I went in with a very specific list of things I wanted, nothing too rare, and I was able to get everything for reasonable prices - slightly less than Discogs minus the shipping. I managed to get OG pressings of My Bloody Valentine's "Glider EP" and Swans "Holy Money" for about 10 Euro each. I also snagged Lou Reed's "Berlin", Van Morrison's "Veedon Fleece" and Stiff Little Fingers' "Inflammable Material" - all albums i've been looking for but didn't feel like paying Discogs prices plus shipping. Overall, it was a very nice experience. Unfortunately the weather was rainy and bitingly bitterly cold, but the records and coffee shops made up for it Also I got to see Wilco that weekend in Utrecht, and was in the front row - one of my favourite bands since the 90s and first chance seeing them live. Unfortunately Tweedy was in a shitty mood coz of the Trump win and only did one encore, but it was an amazing experience nonetheless.- 23 replies

PO: Mount Eerie - A Crow Looked At Me (March 24th, 2017)

Got my copy here in India a couple days ago. Finally getting around to listening to it. I've already streamed the album a few times and know it quite well, so not commenting on the music, but unfortunately my pressing is a bit noisy. Not overbearing but slightly annoying crackle. I've only done a dry clean, not a wet one as yet - I hope that improves it. What a fantastic album. My favourite from Phil since Glow Pt 2, although I do feel a bit guilty about saying that given the subject material.
