I'm sure its gonna be back up now that its announced. Not crazy about waiting 4 months for this thing to come out.

That would be disappointing if it does happen.

it would be a great run, but why would they decide that before going into the album cycle. Also in this day and age, whats the point? Why not just take an indefinite amount of time between albums. Also, also, source? I'll take them pressing it w/o anyone knowing and then dropping everything at once.

I think its more fun enjoying new music rather than waiting for it. And its fine to hype people up. But to string people along for weeks is just cruel. Especially when people are excited. I'm looking at Grizzly bear. Arcade Fire seem to be doing a bit of it too.

I get that we live in instant gratification times, and it's fine if people want to push back against that, but I don't think you gain anything by sitting on something. Grizzly Bear took it to an obnoxious extreme. I hope the National don't follow suit.

They just announced a Milky Way colored pressing (/1000). Brown with tan swirls. Go get em.

I'm guessing Bullmoose sent that email to everyone who pre ordered a blue as a CYA Move. But I'm willing to bet that people who pre ordered before the tweet and probably 15-20 min after will be safe. I know I've gotten an email like this from them before and they ended up getting enough to cover pre orders.
