  4. Pre-orders for Teen Suicide's 'Bonus EP' are now live on the runforcover webstore "Teen Suicide’s latest Bonus EP is a concise collection of songs which were only previously available via Dropbox links from the band’s Facebook page. Salvaged from the internet abyss between thinkpieces on Marilyn Manson’s ribcage and pictures of Omar from The Wire, Bonus EP’s six tracks are as genre-defying as their latest twenty six track swansong LP It’s the Big Joyous Celebration, Let’s Stir the Honeypot - pulsating, glitchy arrangements like opener “Smoke Gets In Your Eyes” and the autotune-heavy “Slow to Work it Out” are as captivating as the psych-pop-influenced “Lately” and “Lost Cause” are catchy. Though it exists as a compilation of almost-lost tracks - the EP’s refusal to be tied down to a single defining genre or mood for more than a few moments is as accurate a portrayal of Teen Suicide’s impetus as a band as we’re ever likely to get." Tracklist: 1. Smoke Gets In Your Eyes 2. Lost Cause 3. Slow to Work It Out 4. Let’s Go to the Beach 5. Lately 6. Beneath the Cross (demo) Pressing Information 300 180 Gram black 500 Red-In-Clear 1200 White

  14. From Facebook "Our vinyl compilation Boring Ecstasy comes out in 8 days (presale starts on Saturday! 22nd of March) and we couldn't be more excited. To see everything come together the way it has after all the months of planning that have gone into this amazing record has been truly incredible. For those interested in buying a physical copy; we'll be pressing 150 coke bottle green and 150 electric blue LPs, and each copy will come with a poster print of the album artwork and a 4x6 photo print taken by either us or one of the artists on the compilation (we're gonna be passing around some disposable cameras) We'll also be spraying each jacket with a tiny amount of a custom scent made specifically to accompany this release. Thanks everyone xo" From Tumblr: How will the compilation be arranged? All new material? Or songs from albums? Looking forward to it! It’s like 95% new material from everyone, I think some songs are things that are gonna end up on future albums by certain bands / artists. The Elvis Depressedly song is only going to be released on the record. 1. Ricky Eat Acid - Can You See It’s Bloom 2. Alex G - Cards 3. R.L. Kelly - Everything’s Cool 4. The Sweater I Gave You - Nobody’s Baby 5. Four Visions - Hazy Past 6. Home Alone - Catching Hours 7. Julia Brown - Without You 8. Infinity Crush - Spoiled 9. Elvis Depressedly - N.M.S.S. (Amy’s Demo Tape) [vinyl only] 10. HAPPY TRENDY - Spirit Week 11. Yohuna - Badges 12. Foxes in Fiction - Rearrange 13. Euphoria Again - Change 14. MEISHI SMILE - Sincerity (thanks cwhitmuzik!) Will be available to order here... http://www.orchidtapes.bigcartel.com
  15. Looking to buy any variant of REA's 12" entitled 'Three Love Songs'. This was recently repressed and sold on orchid tapes, but I missed out on the presale.
  16. http://orchidtapes.bigcartel.com Ltd to 250 Copies 1/2 is Royal Blue the other is Baby Blue (Baby Blue is nearly sold out!) All of this from the website: "Each order includes: • Three Love Songs 12" • 4x6 photo print by Sam Ray • Lyrics / credit sheet printed on pink construction paper • Oolong tea bag • Orchid Tapes sticker • Personalized thank-you note" Record is 20$ and shipping is 7.50 (yikes!) but Ricky Eat Acid sort of has a cult following. Also there is a B-Sides only cassette that is available for purchase on the same BigCartel site.
  17. Looking to buy teen suicide's rarities CS. I'm willing to pay very nicely as its a hard one to come by. Blue or turquoise, it doesn't matter.
  18. Didn't see anybody else post about it so I will: Julia Brown's first 7" went live at 1 today. Won't ship for a few weeks, but yeah. 100 Gold 400 Baby Pink Buy it here Listen to it here //INB4 price complaints: From Birdtapes tumblr: Question : Price for the Julia Brown 7"? ((This was asked before it was posted)) Answer: "This hasn’t been announced yet because we were debating it for a while. It was going to be $10, and I know that probably sounds expensive for a 7”, we even got backlash for charging $8.50 for holo pleasures. We spent money to record this 7” in a studio, and while most labels make that money back through digital sales (at no cost) we don’t. Really we need to be incorporating studio costs and other expenses into our vinyl sales because that’s all we sell. We also put a lot of effort into this release, and the packaging is gorgeous (and costly) so I hope people appreciate it. All that said, we’re going to stick with the $8.50 for now because I think it’s definitely a fair price but we’re not making any profit. I’m excited for everyone to get this record, and I’m grateful for everyone who has supported us up to this point and made it possible - thank you <3"
