daegor
So... this is out of nowhere, but I'm sure this will be huge over the course of the year. A female one-piece black metal band in the same vein of Deafheaven (heavy atmospheric and shoe-gaze influences on the sound). Relapse is releasing the debut EP in September: 1000 Black 400 Mint Green / Bone White Merge 100 Clear (publicly unavailable) Pre-order here: http://www.relapse.com/label/artist/myrkur.html?show=biography

daegor
I need to give this another go as well. It's good, listening to the album it's a little muddy, and that first song they debuted is the best off the EP, but it's still really good. Metal Mike
FYI, it looks like there's less than 25 copies if the color left,

rynflnnry
some parts of that first single were cool, and I want to be able to like this, but I couldn't help but feel like overall that song was a bunch of different incomplete ideas mashed together into one song, versus one finished and well executed idea. it didn't seem like the ideas flowed very well. am i crazy?
