burntwolf
so, I got my Deny Everything LP today, which did come pretty fast, but they shipped it in a standard large Priority box (not flattened) w/ some bubble wrap and the jacket is all bent up. The vinyl at least isn't warped or messed up. Lame, lame, laaaame...
tomoleksy
Interpunk is pretty lame in general. It's nice that they over charge for shipping than do a shitty job shipping.
loren
yeah they really need to stop cheaping out and use actual record mailers instead of those crappy boxes meant for clothing or something

elephanttttt
i think the boxes they use cost more they are just lazy.
oakland
Yeah, putting one 7" in a huge box is kind of stupid. This has happened to me many times, so I make sure if I'm ordering something from them to place a huge order. That way the box gets packed tight. biggiesized
Thanks for the heads up.....I was gonna order something from them soon. Now I guess not.

rogoe
I live 30-40 mins. away from their headquarters and there are times I think about trying to pick up my order in person and not dealing with the hassle. I've never had an order lost or anything but ridiculous shipping charges, and the practices described here are still annoying.
xlovecolouredx
i ever ordered from interpunk. in my opinion, interpunk always service as good as the other store do with the order from Thailand. but i hate to buy money ticket and send for purchase.it make me don't want to order from their store too often except i find some stuffs that can't find from the other webstore. anyway, their shipping charge for Thai customer (like me) is very terrible and didn't fast as they declare.... steventangent
haha. Because of the overcharge in shipping, I usually order with 2 or 3 other people to split the cost. Silly.
hickey
I only order from interpunk when it's something I can't get elsewhere or if I'm doing a massive order, that's the only way I can justify their shipping costs. I hate it when I get one LP in a box that can fit 15.

Guest Admin
i think the boxes they use cost more they are just lazy. priority mail boxes are free, that must be why they do it, but LP mailers are not that expensive.
sgoodcore
i think the boxes they use cost more they are just lazy. priority mail boxes are free, that must be why they do it, but LP mailers are not that expensive. Especially given the quantity Interpunk would go through. They would get massive discounts.
mattisr1984
pretty much everything about interpunk is lame...
Guest scriptedrain
I got 2 copies of TAYF on orange yesterday and one is in great condition (a little ringwear, everything else looks new) and the other is in pretty good condition (minor wear, especially along one edge). The lyric sheets and records are mint, though. Either way, I'm glad I got them when some people are saying Interpunk didn't send them theirs. - Jeff

I live about as far away as you can get from Interpunk and mine came super quick and everything was in perfect condition. Actually it's the only time i've gotten vinyl from them where something wasn't messed up.

loren
yeah they dont use proirity boxes. it just seems like they have a bunch of boxes to ship clothing and such in..and they probbaly get a real good deal on having so many but yeah im thinking laziness is also a big factor in them not using lp mailers
elephanttttt
actually i think once i got something in a lp mailer, not a small one but a larger box, with 10 or so records. it was still packed really bad and lot of covers got bent. mattisr1984
its a rarity when i buy something from them but IF i do, i always have them ship priority versus first class since its only like 50 cents more. no way i trust their shitty packaging job to last a weeks worth of transit time. also, i avoid ups like the plague for obvious reasons.
