I missed out on the first press through bigtunes, do you have a link to order? I'm having an issue finding it. I have the new Debonaires and the New Hillyard as well, which are both pretty awesome, although not my favorite dave record. Picked up the oil in my lamp 7" when I went to see the Debonaires at punk rock bowling, and was stoked to get the new LP when it came out, it's been getting a lot of rotation around here.

Official release date is Oct. 29, Sammy said the record should be up for preorder on www.panicstaterecords.com within the week, so keep an eye on it.  I think I may have been mistaken on color as well, I think only the red haze will be available to all who didn't preorder through the Bigtunes campaign.

Thanks, I saw they were supposed to be up yesterday, and that red haze looks slick, so I'm stoked on that. It's gonna have to be my last purchase for a few weeks, I have 20 or so records coming in the mail, and two replacement turntables getting delivered Monday. Hopefully nothing amazing will come up in the next few weeks!

Any Skankin' Pickle fans here?  I saw them live quite a few times in the mid-90's.  They were fantastic.

back in high school my friend and i would interview bands and edit them for the morning tv show.  we interviewed Skakin Pickle, but it happened to be very close to their end.  i for some reason remember them telling us that Mike Park left the band a day or two before the show we interviewed them at.  So, I only got to see Skakin Pickle once and Mike Park wasn't even there.

i gave the interview tapes to a friend a few years ago, he put some of it on YouTube but i don't remember anything about Skakin Pickle.

edit my friend did put up the raw footage.

here is one with LTJ too.  after we turned the camera off they asked if we do drugs, i should have just turned the tally light off and kept rolling.

That is really awesome.  I think there was some bad blood when Mike left.

I'm going to see Voodoo Glow Skulls in Lincoln Nebraska at the end of the month.  I'm really excited about this show.  The last time I saw VGS was around 95 in Victorville, CA at a civic hall.  Assorted Jellybeans opened for them.  They were about to drop Firme and I remember them playing Charlie Brown along with a ton of songs from Who Is, This Is?.

Yesterday I received the new Kill Lincoln record. Their friends of one of the bands that I put out and play some great ska music. It's ska mixed with hardcore and pop punk. Think a heavier four year strong with some horns. It's out on jumpstart records, everyone should check em out!

I used to play in a ska band a long time ago down here in south Florida and haven't really kept up with the genre in a while , gonna check out the bands in this thread

Were you in Bum Ruckus?

Yeah

I remember you guys. When I was in high school in Orlando there were a few good ska/punk bands that played all the time. The Spitvalves were my favorite band to see live though, loved those dudes.
