Mine came today, looks awesome. The records is extremely warped and unplayable though

Just listened to the B-Side (clear/orange) - no skips. I noticed that the spindle hole is off-center quite a bit, my record player's tonearm is swinging inwards and outwards a lot. Lots of pops and surface noise, too.

The recycled covers are the icing on the cake, the best part is the music. There, i said it This album rules, so buy it if you haven't yet.

I'm suprised this album has not been mentioned here before. Easily one of my 2011 favorites. If you're into instrumental post rock, check it out. "I Was Here For A Moment, Then I Was Gone" stream (Bandcamp) Vinyl: 1st pressing, black, gatefold /500.

Agreed. Bought mine used about 16 years ago and it's still running fine.

I have one. It's a decent direct drive turntable with a linear tracking tonarm. Too much plastic for my taste. I also have a SL-7 which is much, much better. Highly recommended, look out for that one instead.

I love Buffalo Tom! I'm glad I have all albums on vinyl. My s/t is a test pressing (Rainbo records pressing plant) with a regular sleeve, the copy of Birdbrain is on red. Plus: I just bought the Birdbrain EP for a few bucks today.

Got mine today. The packaging is stellar. I have to say the Majorlabel version looks like crap in comparison. What the hell was the guy responsible for the artwork thinking?

Same here. I picked up my copy at the post office today and the packaging job was plain horrible. Sadly this seems to be standard and no exception to the rule with orders from the UK.

Thanks. I'm using a Nikon D70 DSLR. Taking decent pics of records is no magic, using a tripod and natural light (no flash) is the key.
