Kinda disappointed there's no colored variant for this one, but the band's site is selling the record in a bundle with a signed lithograph for just $4 more ($25.98 plus shipping): http://wet.shop.musictoday.com/store/

Apparently Vinyl Me Please (VMP) will have an exclusive variant of this, limited to 600, available in their members-only store (i.e. it's not VMP's album/record of the month) that opens 1/15. Other details (color, etc.) and price still to come.

"This 15th anniversary pressing brings the album back to vinyl for the first time since its 2001 release. Like the original pressing, the album contains the bonus track "Hiro's Song", only available on the Japanese CD and US vinyl releases. This reissue was pressed on two 180gram LPs."

So, I guess the deluxe Heartbreaker ser has been put on hold.
I think you have 1989 to thank (or rather, blame) for that.
-
I think the VMP club is such a joke. $27 ppd. for a single LP? No thanks.
They're not always 1xLP. 5 of the 12 released this year were 2xLP (Father John Misty, J Dilla, Hot Chip, Four Tet, and Nils Frahm).
-
So will this be available outside of the vmp subscription?
Too early to say yet. If it is, it won't be this version/variant, as it's exclusive to VMP.

Cambridge Audio 651P phono stage (Like New from US Audio Mart for $150 plus shipping)
-
$12 for shipping????
It's $7.85 for me (US).

There is a Deluxe 3xLP version of this, no idea if it's limited or not.
The 3rd LP is called "Far Out To Where We Were Then" - a demos LP on white vinyl, including demo versions of songs from the album as well as 2 unreleased tracks.
It's only a couple bucks more ($23.00 plus shipping from SC) than the Standard 2xLP version:

Damn, was really hoping The Brothers & Sisters - Dylan's Gospel LP (2014) was going to be a daily deal.I was also wondering about the LITA sale and found this:
-
Light in the Attic Records is doing their annual holiday sale. Runs until 11:59pm on New Year’s Eve! They are offering 20% off all LITA titles (including Cinewax, Modern Classics Recordings, Future Days) and 10% off all distro titles, EXCLUDING in both categories brand new titles and titles that are still on preorder status.
No Code. Discount applied already applied sitewide. http://blog.lightintheattic.net/2015-holiday-sale/
That LITA blog post also says "We will also be putting one select title per day on sale for an even deeper discount for the first half of December. We will announce those titles ahead of time so you can plan accordingly!"
Does anyone know when they'll be announcing those?

^ Music Direct has some stuff on sale: http://www.musicdirect.com/c-775-black-fridaycyber-monday.aspx

Yes. It's coming out next year.
Let me rephrase. Can you please provide a link to a source for that?
-
Christmas 1-5 is coming too.
Got a source for that?
-
Really a lost opportunity. I wouldve paid for a deluxe set that included the avalanche. I'd much rather have that album than a different cover and some colored vinyl.
Maybe they're waiting for the 10th Anniversary of The Avalanche itself?

This is a great album, one of my favorites released this year. If you liked the new Noah Gundersen album, this is better! It's a 2xLP.
If anyone is selling or knows where you can buy his first (self-titled) album on vinyl (outside of the one copy on Discogs), PM me!
-
I picked this up at my local in Canada for 34.99 yesterday. amazon.ca wants $54
it looks great but won't get a chance to spin it till later in the week.
Yesterday? It's not (supposed to be) out until 12/4. Are you sure you didn't pick up the "Definitive Edition" (2xLP) from a couple years ago rather than this new "10th Anniversary Edition" (3xLP)?
-
If anyone is interested in an open/unsealed but unplayed copy of the gold variant, please PM me.
-
It was bumped back to January, in case you didn't hear. You should have no trouble getting a copy.
Do you know anything about the rumored Leon Bridges 10"?
-
In my experience, Bull Moose's prices tend to be cheaper than MSRP by anywhere from $2-$6.If you search on Bullmoose you'll find pricing on most of these. eg. High Fidelity - $28.97, Garbage - $37.97

If you are looking for a warmer sound, what about a tube phono preamp? There's a popular Bellari one though I can't remember which at the moment.
You're probably thinking of the Bellari VP130, but:
1. It's $275 which is more than I was looking to spend
2. I've heard the stock tubes it comes with aren't great, so replacing those would add to the cost as well.

Looking to upgrade my phono stage (just using a crappy Behringer PP400 at the moment as the phono stage in my Yamaha CR-440 receiver is not working correctly). These were the options slinch listed in the beginners' thread (with updated/current prices):
Parasound Zphono ($200)
Musical Fidelity V90-LPS ($230)
Cambridge Audio Azur 651P ($230)
Pro-Ject Phono Box DS ($200)
Are there any others that should be considered/are better than the above? Would I be better off just having the phono stage in the CR-440 fixed?
I prefer a warmer sound over more sterile/clinical. The rest of my setup is a Music Hall MMF2.2 table (with the stock MH Tracker cart), some older/vintage Dynaco speakers (I think they're A-10s but not sure, picked them up at a garage sale for $5), and Grado SR125e headphones.
Thanks in advance for the help/advice!

Bull Moose has it for $19.97: http://www.bullmoose.com/p/21692368/wet-dont-you, which is the cheapest I've seen.
