Not working for me in the US. Territory restriction?
-
Bull Moose has the white vinyl for $17.97 + shipping:

So the yellow 1984 was not US?
Correct, was only available in the UK store.
-
To be clear, the Vampires 7" was always on red, right?

Based on Insound's listing, it may be out 4/28. I'll update the thread title.
Nope, it's 3/31 according to e-mail to Andrew Bird newsletter, which also states 500 copies on gold vinyl via his webstore:
Andrew's 2003 solo album 'Weather Systems' is now available for the first time on vinyl March 31st. The release features brand new, re-imagined artwork by Jay Ryan, and 500 copies will come in limited edition gold vinyl (available only through the webstore).
OP updated as well.

Well that's an exciting development.
Apparently all of the recent PAX-AM 7"s (1984 thru No Shadow) have been pressed on colored vinyl.

For the record, I got the dreaded "Delivery estimate: We need a little more time to provide you with a good estimate. We'll notify you via e-mail as soon as we have an estimated delivery date." message from Amazon.
Based on Insound's listing, it may be out 4/28. I'll update the thread title.

Search for the release that you are interested in and select Full Details
http://recordstoreday.co.uk/exclusive-products/real-rsd-2015.aspx
I have compared the US and UK lists and created a new list of things that appear on the UK but not US one. It's long, full of records that sound appalling and probably grossly inaccurate (there's Elvis, Dag Nasty and many more strange omissions from the US list on it). I'll tidy it up and post it if anyone's interested.
Yes please!

How much stuff does each hottopic usually get on RSD??
I can't decide whether this deserves an upvote or a downvote.
- subplotofcrows, bruch023 and The Saint

SRC has this up for $25 so that should be the list price it seems http://www.shopradiocast.com/products/Ryan-Adams-%252d-Heartbreaker-LP.html
Tracklisting is for the Blue Light 7" though.

Approx. 20 copies of the clear available on VinylLoop for $16.50: http://vinylloop.com/collections/frontpage/products/sufjan-stevens-carrie-lowell

I know a few of the past releases pop up in other online stores with cheaper shipping, would it be expected that this one would as well?
I'd be pretty surprised if it didn't.

Album is streaming here: http://www.npr.org/2015/03/08/390719396/first-listen-houndmouth-little-neon-limelight
Spoiler: It's really good!!
-
Also, if the Amazon listing is accurate, this will be a 2xLP (which is interesting since the original album is just 9 tracks and 34 minutes total) and the vinyl cover art is different from the CD release.

This hasn't been officially announced by Andrew Bird and it's not in his website's store yet (although that should happen soon), but there is a pre-order up for it on Amazon. The album was originally released in 2002 and includes early versions of "Imitosis" (from Armchair Apocrypha) and "Skin Is, My" (from The Mysterious Production of Eggs).

Another new song ("The World Ender") streaming here:

Has a cool surf-rock feel to it, and the yelps remind me of Phosphorescent.

This is getting a repress/reissue. This was also mentioned in the "Official OST and Film Score" thread but I figured it deserved a mention here too.

The Midnight's (a collaboration between American singer-songwriter Tyler Lyle and Danish producer iAmData) Days of Thunder EP is great. Definitely check it out if you're a fan of '80s synth-pop/dream-wave.

EDIT: I guess this doesn't technically belong in this thread since there isn't a vinyl release. Still good music though.

I think Passion Pit is terrible, but here's a link to the "exclusive" Newbury release of their.....wait for it.....new album! Not a repress! Hell has frozen over! Break out the skis!

The new Decemberists album had a Newbury exclusive variant as well.

It's definitely happening at Origami in LA. I believe they posted a list of stores/venues that will be having listening parties earlier today on the asthmatic kitty FB page.
List is here, with more to be announced: http://www.carrieandlowell.com/listen
