I always assume it's younger teens impulsively raising their bids as the auction winds down and panicking when they learn they actually won and don't have the money for it. if it's anything other than that then they're just dicks. the only time I think it's acceptable to put in bullshit bids on an item is when someone is noticeably trying to flip a record. create a new account, bid that shit way up, make the seller think they're getting way more than it's worth, and piss them off by not paying and then the negative feedback doesn't matter. assuming 0 feedback users aren't blocked. as petty as it sounds I'd get a kick out of ruining someone's auction if I was part of a label/band and saw my records being sold to take advantage of someone else.

I think he means that if hot cash is going on during its scheduled release date it might get pushed back since they take vinyl off the site during hot cash.

i was so pumped iioi showed up today. b-side killed it. kinda reminded me of a curse worth believing.

also, I'm not sure how obvious this is to everyone else but if you take a cab, tell them to let the meter run instead of having them offer you a flat rate. they make it seem like €20 is cheap for a ride a few miles away but with a meter it'll only be like €7. at least that's how it was in Rome.

If you'll be in Florence, Rock Bottom Records is definitely worth checking out. Huge selection, organized really well and the employees (at least the ones that were working when I was there) spoke English and were really helpful. Prices were slightly high though.

Me and three friends got tickets for this show but unfortunately two of them can't make it now. The tickets are for Death Cab for Cutie w/ Titus Andronicus at Ovation Hall at Revel in Atlantic City, NJ this coming Sunday, 5/25. The tickets are general admission/standing room only and came to about $50 each after fees. Me and my girlfriend are still going to the show so we can either meet up with you at the show and give you the actual tickets or just have the name transferred for will call and you can pick up the tickets yourself. Trying to sell the tickets as a pair instead of individually but will consider all offers. Please PM if interested!

I'm not tryna complain about the neighborhoods price but it doesn't make sense to me that it would retail for almost $30 when illinoise by sufjan stevens retails at $17 and is also a 2xLP triple gatefold. genuinely curious about the huge difference. I'm aware of the naturally higher price because of licensing and all that, but I don't see how asthmatic kitty could offer a similar product at almost half the price.

I saw the test on eBay some time this past summer so I guess the popularity he gained over that time was enough to make it go for a lot more. I have my eye on it this time too so I'd be pumped if it went for under $100.
