  1. I would never think you could get em for that cheap. how long ago was that??
  2. last time I saw the iioi/koji test on eBay it went for like $102. I'd be very surprised if it went for around $60.
  3. I was really hoping to get some bands but so far I haven't been able to get anyone willing to play for free. we have $500 to spend but the class doesn't wanna waste any of it on live music since there's so much other stuff "we need more." my campus is only 30 minutes-ish from wilmington so do you think any of the bands you know would be willing to play for free??
  4. I didn't see it but I have seen most other episodes of it. my sister loves the show and said she was super disappointed with how they ended it so I feel like I didn't miss out on much.
  5. haha I do like that idea. we're running it on our school's campus so I'm not sure if they have any problems with gambling, whether it's for actual money or not, but I'll definitely suggest it!
  6. Also, for anyone wondering we're raising money for the organization Shelter Oklahoma Schools. Our teacher's friend lives in Oklahoma and their daughter Sydney was one of seven children that died from the tornado that hit the city of Moore in May of last year. The fundraiser is in honor of Sydney and we're hoping to raise $10,000 towards installing shelters in Oklahoma schools.
  7. My class is putting together a fundraiser and my group is in charge of planning the majority of it. We're struggling with ideas because right now the whole thing is pretty much designed as a fair/carnival because we want events that kids will enjoy with hopes that whole families will show up but we know we need more than just that. What we're working with right now is a moonbounce, three-legged races, potato sack races, wiffle ball, pie in the face, dunk tank, face painting and things like that so there's enough to keep kids entertained. However, the only events we have planned for adults are a silent auction, softball tournament, and some kind of rib eating contest. There will be food vendors as well selling all the usual carnival-type food. Since I know there are plenty of members on this board with children, if you end up going to fundraisers is there normally anything you enjoy or do you just suck it up and watch your kids have fun? Any suggestions are welcomed! Everyone in my group is around 22 so we're struggling to think of things that will bring in people that aren't there with their family. Thanks!
  8. isn't the march shipment the one with the box, slipmat and t-shirt?? I assumed something with that was holding it up
  9. I tried so hard to tell myself I didn't need this since I already have it on black but I just gave in and ordered. damn you american football.
  10. I don't really follow fall out boy but I thought it seemed pretty cheap. if no one here wants it though I'll just leave it.
  11. popping it again to say thanks everyone. I got 53 responses and I was only hoping for 20 so thanks to all who responded!
  12. I saw the picture disc pressing of this for $45 at my record store. is that a good price?? I have no interest to own it myself but if it's still there this weekend I can pick it up if anyone here wants it.
  13. nah we don't have to do anything too extensive with the results. we do have to do an analysis of the results but it'll pretty much be just an explanation of the most frequent answers and how they compare to our initial predictions.
  14. is the navy blue different from the blue /300 from the second press?? edit: nevermind, just checked on deadformat. I would've helped out if I could!
  15. and thanks again to everyone who has taken it. I'm only a few responses away from the minimum amount of responses I need so you really helped out!
  16. I'm in the second semester of my senior year and this class is the last required class I need to take before I can graduate. we all had to pick a fair trade organization to research so I just chose ben & jerry's since I already knew a lot about it.
  17. thanks a lot guys! I had to take one for every student in my class and some of them were pretty painful so I'm glad this wasn't too brutal for ya!
  18. i'm in a research class at my school and i have a semester long project about ben & jerry's. i had to create this survey to help answer my research questions and i'd really appreciate as many responses as i can get. it's only 10 questions and will take less than 5 minutes to complete so if any of you are bored and wouldn't mind taking it, it would really help me out. thanks! https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/266V3LN
  19. I will buy this no matter what the price is. still super bummed I won't be home to see them play near me.
  20. I'd let my copy go for that but my sleeve is damaged. I can send you pictures if you wanna check it out. records have only been played once.
  21. this was the consensus of everyone I went to the show with. couldn't understand what he was saying once the music started anyway and was a real downer when he was explaining what each piece was about.
  22. elliott smith. I have three albums on my ipod that I'm trying to get into but it still hasn't clicked yet besides a song or two.
