I just picked up a copy from our local record store. It was on black.

Same here. I'd pay someone back for getting me a copy. I'm assuming the one from Drag City will be on black. Then again, maybe the black is the rare one... The red looks really nice though. Looks like an old 50's record with the label, when they used to categorize singles by vinyl color. Red was rock, I think.

So if you order directly from the label, pre order even, you're not guaranteed a copy on color. But if you happen to walk into a random store you might get one, but you don't know until you open it. And if you do find one and you already ordered from the label, you gotta double dip. I'm not understanding their logic here. They almost never put out a release on color. Okay, so they threw the collectors a bone, that's cool. But why is it so random? It seems like they should do a first press on color and have it available on the site, and no stupid numbers like 100 on color. Do the whole first run on color. All represses on black. Or 1000 on color, mailorder only. Stores get black. I preordered, and if I get a black one, I have to track down a colored one. And this release isn't cheap, $25 on their site means $30 in a store. Or a tour only variant would be fine too, except that he's not coming anywhere near me. This is just lame.

The color looks great! When I heard it was supposed to be fluorescent orange, I was a bit worried. That's one of those gimmicky colors that's really noisy. But these are a clear orange pink. Really nice looking! And quieter than my black vinyl.

Oh and off topic, I just read that Moz has already been booted from Harvest Records and needs a label again. This dude must be absolutely impossible to work with!

I've got a feeling they were cancelling orders that had more than one or two items. I actually had ordered three; one for me, one for a forum member (we were trying to make sure at least one of us got two to help the other out), and one for my friend that was broke until payday and was going to pay me back. So before you guys get all bent outta shape that I might be flipping them, I'm not. Anyway, that order was cancelled and customer service couldn't tell me why even though they still had copies. So I placed another order for just one, and I received a shipping notice today. It's the only thing I can think of. And I actually agree with the idea of limit one per customer, but since they don't have that policy, I erred on the side of caution and grabbed a few. But then my order was cancelled. Just a thought. But if it was indeed cancelled because I ordered more than one, then the policy should be changed to a limit of one per person and they shouldn't hold a bunch of my Paypal money in a pending transaction.

Guy I talked to said he doesn't know why my order was cancelled but it looks like there's still some left. He said to try and place the order again, but I can't because they're holding my funds.

No it's for this order. Shows the morrissey records. And I went to place another, but I can't because I was charged for the first order and don't have more money in Paypal. But the cancellation order says I wasn't charged.

It's still working...

I placed my order today. This morning. It says it's still available on the site. I went to place a new order, but the money was taken out for my first order, even though the email from Hot Topic says I wasn't charged because it's sold out. I don't get it...?

I just received a message canceling my order saying it's sold out.
