  5. Some additional ideas may also be found in the "Do any of you actually listen to the Music you buy?" thread. http://boards.vinylcollective.com/topic/94644-do-any-of-you-actually-listen-to-the-music-you-buy/?fromsearch=1
  6. Will HT also have the other Ataris reissues on colored vinyl? Don't want to pass on this, but I'd like to pay for shipping to Europe only once...
  7. stream the entire album at kerrang.com! digging it! (sorry, posting links doesn't work in the IE on my office laptop... I'm sure, you'll find it there...)
  8. I liked their last release. But the new song is awesome, too. Ordered!
  9. My heart just stopped: I've already got a download code from MerchNow - but it was only a txt file saying the download comes in May I so want to listen to this record; and at the same time, I hope I'll never have to listen to the final Bane record...

  12. Has anybody noticed the odd pressing numbers? It seems 200 are missing. Hint for a record release color? Sidenote: I like that they didn't jump on the 'hey, let's put the rarest color into a $70,- bundle'-train...
  13. I remember reading something about a 180g special pressing... Still $25 is a lot!
  14. been listening to the stream back and forth - like it - really. I'm tempted to say, it's their best work since Wake The Dead.
  15. Why have I never searched for a photography thread?! I've been taking pics on shows for 5 years or so now. Pro? Far from... but I'm quite happy with the outcome. Usually I post them on a German webzine called stageload and later on in my blog: http://xhighfivesx.blogspot.com. Last week I was lucky to shoot Being As An Ocean, Hundredth, Counterparts and Polar:
  16. aaand... gone. Someone pulled the trigger. I wonder for how much it went. I must admit, I was considering to make an offer... $70 was at least the price DW called, but I'd rather donate that amount than give it to some who can't appreciate DW presents.
  17. It says they are "in the process of securing the rights", not that they have secured them. however, I'm taking the risk and will be skipping the individual records out there right now. just crossing the fingers for a nice box set!
  18. http://www.billboard.com/articles/news/5840072/the-ataris-announce-so-long-astoria-10-year-anniversary-tour-share-exclusive-video-promo second to last paragraph: "But that's not all coming down the pike from the Ataris. The band is in the process of securing rights for a vinyl reissue of "So Long Astoria" from Columbia, and plans to re-release it along with the rest of its back catalog on its original home, Kung Fu Records. The gatefold albums will be available in a boxset and individually, with additional b-sides and photography from Roe."
  19. Any news about the other records or the box set? I'm really hoping for a box set including all the full lengths...
