I've been using a crosley CR6001a that I received as a gift a two christmas ago. I realized it doesn't really sound very good, and now the platter wobbles so much it scares me to play my records on it. With buying a new record and having it skip on the first play through, I decided it's time to move on and buy a new turntable. I have some old speakers lying around, which I'm content with using for now. Also, with my budget being around $200-$300, I've been looking at some players with a built in preamp.
