This is the first time I haven't been drunk on this board in a while. I felt it massively inappropriate for me to comment on this thread in the state I was in last night. I have no idea what to say or any advice to offer you casey as I've never been in such a situation. I know it probably doesn't mean much coming from me but I definitely believe in you, that you can kick this and return to your family. You and yours are definitely in my thoughts. No matter how awful you may feel about this right now, know that deep down you're a good person who's just lost his footing. You will bounce back from this wiser and stronger. You're definitely one of the very very very very few reasons I still kick it around these parts; basically one of the reasons I came back after taking a hiatus. There's a lot of people here who care about you and want you to live a happy, healthy life with the ones you love and who care about you. I'm not sure if this is helping at all but I speak from the heart. I don't know how much help to you I can be, but I'll do my best. Never hesitate to reach out if you need to talk.

I wouldn't be that excited until I figured out the rest. It's a good lineup this year though so hope everything works out. It's not like what I have to figure out will keep me from going. -So about a month ago...and I'm not sure I said anything here, but my boyfriend broke up with me. I took it pretty damn hard. + My awesome friend from Montana's in town. + I FINALLY get to have a weekend. Save for a Saturday shift at the shirt shop, NO STARSUX shift on Sundays anymore. I can get messy. AND since I covered a shift at the shirt shop today, I'm off completely on Sunday. ++++++++++ Got with some really cute, awesome guy I kinda sorta used to have a thing for, not sure if he ever knew and then I met my boyfriend and it was insta-friend zone for him after that. But I don't have a boyfriend anymore and I guess he kinda liked me too (never seemed thrilled anytime I brought up the bf) because when we were hanging like usual (usually entails video games or records, booze, sometimes weed) and he leans over and kisses me. And things kind of went from there. So I'm kind of feeling good about this and having some fun and not dwelling on it too much. And it's the first time I haven't been bumming about my ex.

I wouldn't be surprised if society imploded in on itself in my lifetime. People are getting progressively more stupid. It baffles me how a large portion of the population can even get out of bed and dress themselves and even function to a bare minimum sometimes. If you think I'm off base at all just work retail/customer service. My manager and I at my non-Starbucks retail job spend a lot of our downtime ranting about one of two things. Freelance design work or what I mentioned in the paragraph above using real life examples that walk into our store. He makes me happy that I'm not the only one who feels how I feel.

To be honest if there has to be noise ordinances it should be for assholes blasting their radio at ridiculous volumes (aka I can hear them from the 10th story of my building with the windows closed playing music at a moderate volume) and drunk assholes at 3 am in the middle of the week (and even the weekend because I have to work ass early) yelling like a fucking moron out in the street (that I can hear from ten stories up with my windows closed and ac running).

Also it'd be nice to look into who was responsible for this shit so I know who possibly to not re-elect or write a strong letter to. Goddammit Nutter it better not be you. You're supposed to be better than this.

Hey Philly lawmakers, you know what would be nice? Spending all my goddamn tax dollars on fixing the goddamn fucking sidewalks and potholes, keeping homeless people off the streets, reforming public transit, giving more money to the libraries, revamping public education (especially monitoring all the racial tensions going on in south Philly high schools between asian and black students) and/or giving the cops better resources/training to do their jobs in keeping murderers and drug dealers off the streets. ALL more worth the time and the effort of this dumb fuck bill.
