I just watched it last night actually! there were so many advantages to going digital that i never really thought about.

I feel like 2013 will be the year that digital cinema catches up to and surpasses film.

The first time i remember this paying off for me was in 2002, when Pete Yorn's "Music for the Morning After" was available at Circuit City for 4.99 in their up and coming artists section. Those were the days.

I just finished a documentary about digital vs. film called Side by Side. Keanu Reeves Narrates and conducts interviews with a prominent selection of folks within the film industry. Definitely worth a watch if the technical side of film interests you!

Today i picked up the new Waxahatchee LP "Cerulean Salt". I took a chance on it because i was feeling semi adventurous at the record store and I liked the way the album art looked. I am happy to report that I find the record to be fantastic and this got me thinking. What records have you guys picked up on a whim/hunch and they turned out to be records you love?

Way i see it, TeenageEric is one of the biggest pimps on this board. I wish I coulda talked someone into buying this set for me.

One thing that always helped me was finding a hobby or project to obsess over. In 2011 My Dad passed away and my long term relationship ended within a month of each other. The Main thing i did to combat loneliness/listlessness was to obsess over my photography and improving and expanding my music library. It definitely doesn't have to be a pricey obsession, just something you really care about that you can pour a good amount of time into!

It's definitely kind of a douche move, but i hope that the majority of folks didn't buy this boxset because the signature could potentially be valuable. I feel like that mentality is the reason boxsets have gotten so overpriced/shitty to get ahold of in the first place. I am all for awesome packaging, but the most important factor should always be the music. just some food for thought.

Olidipo is one of 5 players that i have seen this year that i would consider "NBA Ready" so i can't imagine him staying. I feel like Zeller should have to stay though. If he can't handle college kids his own size and possibly less talented, how the fuck is he gonna go up against NBA bigs?

When you consider that Billy Corgan will not even acknowledge the obvious problems with the Mellon Collie box set after loads of proof and time, this make AinR seem like fuckin all stars.
