  1. Hey!!!!! You can't bag on South FloriDUH! unless you live/have lived down here...watch it bub!
  2. From that pic (to me) it looks like the 2nd press green is lighter than the 3rd press aqua...

  4. Like it has been said (and beaten to death already), it's all subjective and what you desire the most...record-wise for this discussion...or argument depending how much of a dick you want to be... As I said in the example, TGUK FMM was one for me...I know it pops up on eBay often...but it came up at the right time and I was able to get it for a decent amount and in perfect shape. I don't think it's a matter of how rare the record may be, it comes down to how much that one person wants it and has been looking for it. If we want to get into broad definition of "white whales", one right now for me is The God Machine "Scenes From The Second Storey" 2x12"...I rarely see it, and when it does, it goes for easily $200+. Only time will tell if I am able to track a copy down and get it...
  5. ooohhh...why thank you kind sir...I will order... But seriously, that is a nice completed collection...kudos to you!

  7. ^^ I likes...a lot... I could make a snooty comment about missing TP's...but I'm actually missing the split w/ City on Film 7"...
  8. Hey, whatever it takes to eventually make Virgil cave and give me Minus The Bear test pressings! Get ready for a cage match then!
  9. It's gonna sound lame, but my heart just broke in half seeing that pic...
  10. I agree. One of my most recent "white whales" was TGUK FMM on gold/clear yellow...for sentimental reasons...I was finally able to snag it...in perfect shape.
  11. check his wishlist Go for it...I just realized I haven't updated it in a while: http://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/wishlist/2HK96YM7KCUVC And yes...I'd like a fuckin' cookie!
  12. Happen to know the date of that Boston show? I may have it on CD and would gladly send you a copy if you wanted. 11/2/07 @ The Middle East Downstairs That would be awesome of you if you do have it. It was a great set that night...from what I recall...I was pretty drunk towards the end there...but having a great time...
  13. I've never been into football so there goes that... Some faves are: Hockey: Jeremy Roenick, Chris Gratton, Scott Mellanby Soccer: Marc Overmars, Ruud Gullitt, Stuart Pierce Baseball: Manny Ramirez
  14. I just recently (1 year or so) got into Lucero. One of the tattoo artists at the shop I go to is a huge fan and he attended college with Roy (drums)...so he has the connections...anyways, I'd always see him wearing a Lucero shirt and he has stickers all over his work station. One day I just asked him about them and picked up "Nobody's Darlings"...I have been hooked since...I've seen them live 4 times already and once even in Boston while I was up there specifically for the ISIS 10th anniversary shows...
  15. I'd subscribe to the whole shebang...One helluva way to check out new bands and music...
  16. - Work sucked ass today...then again, when hasn't it? + Having some beers + Cooking some Szechuan chicken with noodles + Listening to MTB "Interpretaciones" which just arrived today
  17. This was back in mid-90's or later... They put out some pretty decent releases: Jud Jud, Evenscore, Madball, Integrity/Lockweld split on a metal 7"...actual metal with grooves and it played!, Stigmata. There were also a couple of others that were exclusive to members but then open to everyone when they weren't selling.
  18. Sub Pop Singles Club was like $45 Victory Swingin' Singles Club was $60 If I recall correctly on these two of course...
