  1. Bongripper - Satan Worshipping Doom (red edition)
  2. Def. not their best but I really liked it, too! Especially "How to be a Werewolf" (when the bass kicks in...)!
  3. You can get this combo at Buecher.de for 56,97 €. You just have to use this discount-code: SAQC-HW4P-MQU8-5Q4Y I know it's only 3€...
  4. I always thought of him as a really, really cool guy! Seeing the Pitchfork Daytripping video with him, the Q&A he made with his fans or reading about his Atlas Sound gig in Lisbon where he told the organisers to lower the prices, so more people could attend his show. He seemed to be a nice, funny and humble guy. In 2011 I saw Deerhunter and the show was great. The band was awesome and everything was as I had expected. There was only one letdown for me: Bradford's whole appearance. I don't know if it was just this evening but he acted like a big douchey Rockstar through out the whole show...annoying and disappointing. Still have to listen to Monomania...
  5. Nah, sorry but I can't take this seriously...it just sounds like a big joke to me. Like Samdroid said, I could only see myself buying this for the artwork. haha, is this really him?
  6. http://pitchfork.com/news/52119-phil-elverum-releasing-lp-of-re-recorded-and-auto-tuned-mount-eerie-songs/ Last year, Phil Elverum released two Mount Eerie records: Clear Moon and Ocean Roar. This year, he's releasing an album called Pre-Human Ideas, where he re-recorded tracks from both of those albums with Auto-Tuned voices. It's out November 12 via his own P.W. Elverum & Sun label; listen to the re-recorded version of "Lone Bell" above. Although the tracks on Pre-Human Ideas are reworked songs from Elverum's discography, the album's one sheet notes that there are also "newly written lyrics, almost like new songs layered over the old ones, expanding and clarifying the ideas." Pre-Human Ideas: 01 Organs (from Pale Lights) 02 No Inside, No Out 03 I Say "No" 04 The Hidden Stone 05 The Place Lives 06 The Place I Live 07 Lone Bell 08 House Shape 09 Clear Moon 10 Yawning Sky 11 Ocean Roar 12 Organs (from The Place Lives) https://soundcloud.com/forcefieldpr/mount-eerie-lone-bell-pre WTF!? Edit: Will update when pre-orders are up
  7. Cheers! But right now I'm rather thinking that it was a mistake...This girl and I have maintained a strange relationship over the last 4-5 years and now it just feels awkward to ride with her painting but that's something for the Man Advice thread.
  8. Hey, I don't know which variant they had at their show (already spent too much money on records this month). The only thing I can tell is that the records were 12 Euros each, which is f* great!
  9. Thanks! Really satisfied with how it looks! She made a really good job! Kinda sad it'll look like shit in a few days/weeks. haha
  10. "Off"topic: This is how my longboard actually tuned out. We found the Batman-logo but then decided to use a different picture. The painting was inspired by this shirt:
  11. Also, don't hold your cigarette like some European Nazi in a movie!
  12. Pre-ordered: Boards of Canada - Geogaddi Boards of Canada - Music Has the Right to Children Boards of Canada - The Campfire Headphase ~58 Euro
  13. Too fucking expensive... Hopefully some european distros will get this...
  14. Cheers, guys! Thanks for the advices! Really starting to love this thread (This one and the Mogwai Thread)! Yeah i have the clear repress! Really like the first track...i mean it has a jackhammer solo in it!! But I don't like the artwork. I know that it was part of an art exhbition but it has to much influence on my "listening experience". haha this sounds so stupid... Btw. Have you guys heard of Ensemble Pearl? It's a sideproject with Atsuo, Kurihara, Herzog and O'Malley. Really, really cool stuff!

  16. Thanks for the advice, man! Listening to Monoliths right now. I'm really enjoying it, especially Hunting & Gathering! But I kinda miss Malefic's voice.
  17. Yeah, of course! I still have to get Monoliths. Actually I've never listened to this album but the bits and pieces I heard sounded really interesting. When I first heard about a Sunn Rehearsal Demo I was really skeptical but it turned out pretty great. Especially the first song!
  18. I didn't know there were so many sound issues with the first pressing! I love the sound of the Rehearsal Demo...I have to give it a spin today. Also, kind of funny to see people complain about "noise" on a Sunn O))) record but I guess noise, pops and clicks can especially ruin the first half of Bathory.
  19. haha I'd definitely not recommend that in Frankfurt!
  20. Ok, how long are you staying? The good thing about the stores in Sachsenhausen: If the weather is nice you can enjoy some Handkäs and Ebbelwoi in Sachsenhausen or go to the Main and have a few drinks there after having checked out the stores! Sorry, no idea.
