  1. There was another poster who explained, earlier in this thread if I'm not mistaken, that you just put an insane number for quantity on their website when you add it to their cart. Sometimes it will give you an error message, but sometimes it will tell you exactly how many they have left in stock at the moment. I thought this was helpful. I don't often buy from Newbury but they have had one or two pre-sales that I really wanted. I try and be frugal but knowing how many have sold on certain albums let me know which ones not to stay on the fence about.
  2. Had to jump on board with this one as well, there were 74 left after I had purchased mine.
  3. http://www.musicdirect.com/showproduct.aspx?ProductID=312694&SEName=ty-segall-king-tuff-live-at-pickathon-vinyl-lp Didn't know if this had been put up on the boards yet.
  4. Managed to snag a clear for reg price! I'm glad I subscribe to their newsletter, the clear sold out in less than 5 minutes.
  5. http://www.tymguitars.com.au/products/swervedriver-iwasntborntoloseyou12inch Swervedriver - I Wasn't Born to Lose You 100 on transparent red.
  6. Maybe not, I looked over at Discogs too, there is one listed much like ebay but its $55. Makes 35 look like a steal, but I get the frustration over a record that didn't retail for over 15.
  7. That's the nature of the beast these days. I was surprised this variant lasted as long as it did considering his popularity. I also wouldn't be shocked if you found one a bit cheaper a little down the line. The day after something sells out is never a good time to look for a deal.
  8. No worries, his stuff usually goes pretty quick, glad I could be of assistance.

  10. Mac Demarco 2 "Demos" on Limited Orange and Black available on their website.
  11. I just received my copy from Acoustic Sounds, needless to say I'm beyond happy. I'll readily admit I paid way to much, but I was hoping (now confirmed), that I would receive a better copy than the Hot Topic white variant I owned years ago. The packaging, clear vinyl, and most importantly sound, are all impeccable.
  12. Yeah I'm still on the fence, I figured with the repress price plus shipping it wouldn't be that much of a price difference overall and I really enjoy supporting the local shops. I shouldn't but chances are I will, I'm thinking I buy that and then a Frances the Mute pre-order comes up that I can't afford two days later, usually how things go in my world.
  13. Yeah, I realized my mistake after I had posted it, I should have changed that because marbling and half and half are vastly different haha. You are indeed correct it was the orange and white half and half.
  14. I just ran across an orange and white swirl copy at my local shop, still sealed. Ugh, I shouldn't but I want to…….
  15. Thank you for the links with all honesty, I cringed when looking at these, seeing as most of them were European sites, and I thought I might catch a break at acoustic sounds but they were still 50 with shipping. Normally I wouldn't have bitten the bullet but I wanted a clear repress after selling my white copy a year ago. I thought the sound quality wasn't the greatest. In fact, it is one of my favorite records and normally I would of kept it but it just didn't sound good in my opinion. I've been impressed with the sound quality of STP, Brand New, and Mars Volta represses this year. I figured why not give one of my all time fav's less than a week before my bday.
  16. That Black Friday RSD version of Beck - Sea Change on pink vinyl was probably the album I bought thinking, "Why the hell did I just buy this." Now, I think to myself, "I'm really glad I bought that."
  17. Unfortunately, silver is sold out at SRC, says it right next to the colors above the track listing but it'll still be cool to get a copy of Amputechture. I didn't want to pay 20 something for overseas shipping.
  18. All I need is Nico to complete my BM collection but I hope they repress this for all the other fans out there, the originals sound amazing and they really deserve to be out there for all the people that weren't building stacks of sweet wax back in early 90's!
  19. Couldn't agree more, I've heard horror stories but from my personal experience the sound quality was always great, the packaging looked a little flimsy and photoshopped on some releases but I'm a glass half full kinda guy and as long as the tunes sounded good I could care less about the packaging but that's just me.
  20. In my experience, anything limited run Music On Vinyl, has a gold stamped number on the back bottom corner. I read that SRC has the only limited US release which is the silver, and it will be foil stamped and limited to 1500. I'm sure most of the other posters are probably more knowledgable than me but this is what I've encountered with past limited edition vinyl pertaining to MOV.
