I live in Indiana and know how boring it can be to drive through. I get restless just making the 2 hr. drive from my hometown to the city I live in now. What part of Indiana do you drive through? I live in the southwestern part of the state, so if you come through there you are more than welcome to crash at my place if needed.

Just got my secret santa gift in. A Liverpool jersey, a homemade art print (which looks awesome), two records (Further Seems Forever and Beloved Us) and a couple of Broken Circles buttons (which gave cactusbot away, as well as being a fan of Liverpool too). So thank you to cactusbot, it was an awesome gift and I loved it. Will be posting pictures tomorrow.

my first game of hockey. Some of my friends got me to play in the Men's B league. I have hardly skated before and in full gear less, but I loved every minute of it. I fell down countless times but still had a blast. I think I'm hooked.

I'm really happy with USA's draw, we can set the tone early against England. For a bit I was preparing for a group of death situation. I was having visions of an England, USA, Ivory Coast and Portugal. That being said I cant wait to watch Brazil vs. Portugal and see how the Ivory Coast stacks up against those two teams as well...Poor Korea though.

So, there is a family tradition on my mom's side of the family that all the guys get together, drink white russians and other assorted alcoholic beverages and watch the Big Lebowski, along with other various movies and music dvds....Anyway, just wondering if any of you board members had awesome family traditions as well?

FIFA 10 has taken over my life.

Always liked her music. I worked at a military base over the summer and one lunch break "Don't Know Why" came over the radio right as some bomb testing was going on. So we just sat and listened to her and bombs dropping a few miles away, kind of surreal.

Well put...I guess if he would have mentioned liking Kid Cudi before the last six months or we listened to the occasional hip hop song in his car I wouldn't mind it so much. But it seemed like he was just like "oh by the way, I only listen to hip hop and electronica now."

So tomorrow Girl Talk is performing in Bloomington, IN...not really a fan but thinking about going because it is free.... BUT an old acquaintance whos an indie kid turned dj is putting on the Girl Talk after party. So I run into him this past weekend and asked him how he managed to not only perform at it but host it too and he told me "Well its just a party after the show, I mean I asked him to show up and he said he might." This is the same guy who posted a picture on his facebook profile of a screen caption of a myspace message that GT sent him in response to a question.... The guy used to be pretty solid, now he only worries about "spinning" and having his parties sponsored, sad in my opinion.
