I nabbed that $80-90 Smashing Pumpkins Mellon Collie box set for $25 on Amazon last year. Then the price went way up again as soon as they perceived that the demand had increased.

I missed the pre-orders for these by about a week (I wasn't a VC member at the time) and have regretted it ever since. I bought a sealed copy from someone on Deadformat last year for $30 and it never arrived, so I'm looking to avoid that again. I'm not looking for a sealed copy any more, anything will do. Good condition would be nice though. PM me if you're looking to sell and we can set something up.

The real record colours look a lot nicer than the mock ups, which is surprising.

I received the Gish repress in the mail, and it's great quality-wise. The packaging is excellent too.

I didn't know historical recordings of lesser significant were pressed. I've heard of WWII Nazi youth rants/dialogues being pressed, but not battle atmospherics.

The copy of Pity Sex - "Feast of Love" I got had an unusually small center hole and it ended up getting stuck on my player. I had to get it off with a plastic spatula to avoid damaging the grooves.

I picked up the 2011 Siamese Dream reissue and it sounds incredible. The four songs per side work really well, so you don't have that Mellon Collie box set/Zero being crammed in on that one side fuzziness. I ordered the 2011 Gish as well, can I expect the same quality?

Shipping to Ontario, Canada from RFC is usually around $24 for me, even though I'm closer to Boston. It sucks.

I was just doing a quick search for someone selling this online and realized it's been a year since the new store launched with the suspected repress... Hopefully they repress at some point after they release the new album.

I found them to be a little underwhelming live as well. I guess I was expecting them to play more off of Infinity. Regardless, I loved their last release and will definitely grab this at some point.
