  1. Is that for sure happening? Either way, I'm down for a game.
  2. I fully back pestering Broken Circles for any and all things. I tend to make it a daily ritual of my own.
  3. Go to this! Richard has mastered all of my releases. Erika Records' vinyl mastering engineer Richard Simpson who has over 40 years of cutting experience will be at our SXSW booth to answer questions related to the mastering and production of a vinyl record. Richard will be at the booth Tuesday, all day, Wednesday 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Thursday 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Stop by to ask Richard your mastering questions and hear his mastering session stories with Elvis Presley, John Denver, Lou Reed, David Bowie, The Monkees, The Beach Boys, Harry Nilsson (The Beatles), Ice-T, NWA, E-Sassin, Paul Oakenfolds and more.
  4. Ahead of schedule and everything is done. Inserts showed up and we'll have this up for order next week.
  5. I'm typically good about giving the heads up. Consider it done.
  6. Can this band walk into a bar and buy beer? I'm gonna need to see some identification.
  7. We're incredibly excited to announce Half Hearted Hero as our newest addition to the family. In just a short amount of time we'll release their latest offering - Running Water. The new record contains 6 brand new tracks that are going to blow you away. Following up their full length, Defining, Refining, was no easy feat but the new EP will exceed any and all expectations. Hailing from New Bedford, Massachusetts the band recorded at guitarists Clinton Lisboa's studio and was then mastered by Jason Livermore at The Blasting Room (Rise Against, A Wilhelm Scream, Propagandhi). Running Water will see a release on April 5 on limited vinyl with digital download and will also be available through all digital outlets. We've already approved test presses for the record and can't wait for you to hear it. In the meantime you can check out "Start Where You Are" and "Periphery" at our revamped Bandcamp page at www.animalstylerecords.bandcamp.com http://www.facebook.com/pages/Half-Hearted-Hero/34416651091 TRACKLISTING 1. Five Points 2. Start Where You Are 3. Periphery 4. The Wheels 5. Mirrors 6. Samaritan Pact Running Water will be pressed on 3 different colors limited to 500 copies with jackets printed on recycled board. Each copy will be housed with a screened obi-strip.
  8. Gherkin and Trio are at the same time. Same date yes but not the same time. Trio show starts a half hour later so I'm hoping I can run across the street when they start and still watch the majority, if not all, of Gherkin's set. It'll work.
  9. I'll be at Slapstick, Slow Gherkin and Alkaline Trio as long as I can swing that, and then Lawrence Arms.
  10. Where's my pre-order? Filing my PayPal claim now. I suggest you all do the same.
  11. Maybe not 100% identical but they are all mixed like that for sure.
  12. It just makes my life and everyone else's a little easier. The records do sound great though!
  13. We're excited to announce we're working with Washington Square Park and we'll release their debut self-titled LP for the first time on vinyl. 14. plus I'm guessing you haven't seen BR recently... all of the shows I've seen in the last year they've absolutely killed it each night. They all look way happier/into it than in previous tours (NMOH/TESF). Hey Cheeseman! 4/7/11 :-* :-* :-*
  15. I did a blog post for The Saddest Landscape about the release of Turf Wars and Stallone. You can check it out here http://animalstylerecords.tumblr.com/
  16. I wish that font looked "older." It also needs more naked people running on the cover.
  17. They could be colored for all I know. They're sealed.
