I just picked up a Segull Maritime Solid Wood Series cutaway and it is effing unreal. The sound quality is absolutely amazing, the onboard electronics are true sounding and the feel is unmatched. I spent less than $700 and it outplayed up to ~$1500 Martins and Taylors. I haven't even been playing my Les Paul or Tele since I got this thing. I also picked up and Egnator tube amp, the Tweaker, and it's gorgeous. It sounds great with all three of my guitars.

I was given a Capita board and Burton Custom bindings. Then I picked up a pair of Burton Hail boots at an REI garage sale for $20. I've been using clothing that I got from deployment, and it's done a decent job, but it's not designed for boarding. All I need now is some snowboard specific gear. I have been scouring those sites, so thank you all for the links.

I'm interested...I'm about to buy some Triton pants from Bonfire, but I am in need of a Jacket (shell, preferably) and some goggles. I'm looking for some big 'ol goggles (think Electric eg2, Dragon APXs) and some other schtuff. Let me know what youz gotz.

Hey folks, I got into snowboarding at the end of this season thanks to some free gear from a buddy. Now that I'm hooked I'm looking to pick up some apparel, goggles and things like that. While I totally agree that there should't be a rush on free things, putting a time limit (3-5 days, for instance) would keep the thread relevant and exciting. For a little while there it was at the top regularly. I think that sort of excitement and rapid turnover only helps everyone. Once you enter a drawing, there is virtually no reason to return to the thread unless you win or another record is announced. Nothing against the dude giving it away, I'm just thinking for the good of the universe. Just my $.02. Over and out.
