hey, thanks for the kind words about the split 7" The packaging for "chaos" will be even better: extra heavy paper stock (with a spine), matte finish, double-sided full color insert, and 70 gram extra heavy vinyl. Its going to look pretty rad. I haven't seen too many 70 gram 7"s, but the ones I have just feel + sound amazing, even better than 180 gram I think...

why is the white stripes 7" going for $350 - its out of 1,300 ?

I would get a vinyl brush and try and clean it. If that doesn't work, look at the record under light and see if there is something that isn't moving when you brush it the record. That sounds more like a pressing defect than dust, because dust usually just skips or pops, but the record keeps playing past that point. bummer...

This is a really good label, I just wish their vinyl was a bit cheaper. The guy Brent who runs it is really creative though, he's all over the place with different projects. I just bought all three color pressings of This Will Destroy You's new 2xLP + the album t-shirt + the full CD all for $80 - which isn't too bad I suppose. I definitely had some hesitation clicking the "purchase" button though

I want to say just on clear, but not exactly sure. I can't even find out how many were pressed on clear. I wish all labels would post their release info for vinyl.

man, I have all of the 7"s, but I was too young and stupid to even think of keeping the note that came inside each of the 7"s each month (I only kept the last one - One Man Army) or even the mailers they came in. bummer.

yeah, "vinyl" bothers me too. but what about people that say "I'm going to get a coffee" instead of saying "I'm going to get a cup of coffee" -- I think the second is correct, but I've been met with some stiff opposition. Wouldn't that be the same as "I'm going to go buy a vinyl" ?? ???
