  1. 1. Styx - Mr. Roboto 7" (my first ever purchase at five years old. I'll never forget walking into that store for the first time) 1. Goo Goo Dolls test pressings (S/T, Jed, Hold Me Up. This band exposed me to independent music before they got famous and I adore these albums) 2. Face to Face - Don't Turn Away colored pressings on Dr. Strange (5 different, very tough to find) 3. Face to Face - three test pressings (No Authority 7" on red, compilation pic disc, Don't Turn Away on Dr. Strange) 4. Afghan Whigs collection - numerous test pressings and all the numerous colored pressings of all their LPs and 7"s 5. Alkaline Trio - Goddamnit test press (1 of 5 authenticated by Mike Park) 6. American Steel - test pressings (S/T LP, Every New Morning 7" on brown) That's it off the top of my head, I'm sure there's tons more
  2. go to deathwish records website for pressing info of most of their other albums here's the page with no heroes http://www.deathwishinc.com/releases/#76
  3. I'd love to see Snapcase and Rocket From the Crypt one more time
  4. Two of mine recently happened. American Steel and Seaweed. I can't even believe it. Here's hoping I get to see Seaweed in concert some day. I would love to see the Afghan Whigs reform some day. But I love what Dulli is doing with the Twilight Singers so much that I can't complain. And I'd love to see Paw reform. Yeah, I know I'm old and nobody probably knows what I'm talking about, but reunions are no fun when barely any years have passed! Lifetime, Kid Dynamite, etc.
  5. Bags Unlimited makes them. Terrific place to order from, by the way. http://www.bagsunlimited.com/cart/detail.asp?cat=2&subcat=11&product_id=sblp2
  6. I have it on red, yellow, purple, and green. Actually, I have two purple copies. One is translucent and one is opaque with a little marbling in it. I've got the test pressing as well. Great album, great band. Oh yeah, one's autographed by the original lineup
  7. It is dated. They'll e-mail you to let you know it's out of stock and your order's cancelled. That's what they did to me a couple of months ago. And they still haven't removed the item from their store. Ridiculous.
  8. I don't use my computer at all. I burn my vinyl straight to CD using a component CD burner. They aren't particularly popular, they're the equivalent of a tape deck. But I don't convert them to mp3s so that's why I do it that way. I have no real use for mp3s.
  9. The latest Sparta release isn't on vinyl. First time that's happened.
  10. http://cgi.ebay.com/TRAIL-OF-DEAD-Source-Tag-And-Codes-LP-Record-NEW-VINYL_W0QQitemZ160121807031QQihZ006QQcategoryZ306QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem
  11. Remains is coming out on vinyl this month. See Interpunk
  12. My wish list in no particular order, although I've already told Virgil all of these way back when Brand New - The Devil and God... Motion City Soundtrack - Commit This to Memory (maybe you can check on their upcoming release) Face to Face - Live; Ignorance is Bliss; Standards and Practices Goo Goo Dolls - Superstar Car Wash; A Boy Named Goo Crime in Stereo - both full lengths Afghan Whigs - Unbreakable (their upcoming greatest hits/retrospective) I'm not overly interested, but you could probably move a ton of copies of the Plus 44 or Angels and Airwaves records if they were pressed...
  13. The Expedit is outstanding. I've bought four and they work perfectly. They also work great for books, of course. I found the expedit in an Ikea catalog without knowing people were using them for records, made the trek to Ikea, and was shocked to see that the display models actually had a handful of records in the cubes! As if they were made for that specific purpose. I love it!
