Correction: Six colors PLUS a black version. For the person wanting pics of blue and green, I do not have either of those in hand yet but it is my understanding that they are by far the rarest pressings.

Why should I never get to hear TMFW on wax just because I was too young? I mean nuts if I could afford a 140 for a single record I would, because that's one of my favorites but I freaking cant. Someday I'll have a big paying job, but until then it would be nice for "punks" to stop pregnant doging about the market value of their pieces and be happy that other people are enjoying an amazing record on vinyl. Screw collecting what about loving the music? I'm with you, it's all about having the music on vinyl. The way vinyl appreciates is simply a bonus. Although it does allow me to check out bands that I've never heard and recoup at least my cost if I don't like it. (Which reminds me, I need to dump my red/blue Mastodon Blood Mountain LP. Ugh.) But like anything, if you look at something as an investment, there's always risks involved.

Maybe you're thinking of Finding the Rhythms, that recently came out again. But in any case, they were supposed to be repressing the LP for Forever and Counting and that info has disappeared.

I didn't think the No Idea repress of Forever and Counting had been released yet. It's not on eBay or available on their site

There's no reason you can't use a DJ turntable. You'll pay more for the features that you don't need, but just follow your cartridge's specifications for setting the weight, anti-skate, etc. and you'll be fine. I'm not familiar with this model in particular but I don't doubt that it's better than your Best Buy model. I wouldn't use a DJ needle/cartridge, though.

Agreed, this isn't the place to go for new music. Brave New World is a good choice. I used to always hit Eide's before Jerry's but they've whittled down their vinyl big time. Maybe I will hit one of those places tomorrow, too...

There's a Weakerthans sticker in there too. That one really took me by surprise. Never noticed the Epitaph connection. Not nearly as impressed. I assumed the writers were fans. Oh well.

Agreed, I didn't it sounded nearly as bad as people made it out to be and I consider myself a fairly critical listener. Of course, I just got some new equipment and my needle realigned by a professional so everything has been sounding remarkable lately. It's unbelievable what a difference that made.
