  1. I finally made it over here. I think it's pretty okay so far.
  2. Those look amazing. I'm glad I ordered the black/white splatter.
  3. I'll be there. I'm really going because I miss having bamboozle/skate&surf in Asbury. I only went once when they moved it to the meadowlands. I live 20 minutes away from Asbury and it's my favorite place to go for shows so I knew I couldn't pass it up. I feel like the line up is missing a lot of bands still, though.
  4. I'd be interested in the b&c/tigers jaw and whatever JEW you may have to offer.
  5. When did you guys place your orders? I've sent them 2 e-mails since they e-mailed that list of leftovers a few days ago and I haven't gotten a response I emailed them on the 25th and they got back to me with a price. I sent over the money so now I'm just waiting for them to ship it.
  6. Got shipping Email yesterday. Cool, thanks. +1
  7. I'm definitely going to be buying this - thanks for the heads up! My friend just joined the band as the full time bassist. I'm really stoked for him.
  8. Same here. Have you gotten any sort of confirmation from them?
  9. These looks awesome. I have the TEN 10" boxset and it's beautiful. Great job, Patrick! I'm seriously considering getting one made for my JEW collection.
  10. These guys are one of my absolute favorite bands, so it'll be hard for me to be disappointed. I love the new track.
  11. I just left it because I didn't know what else to do with it, haha. I didn't even think that it would/could mess up my order. =\
  12. Real name: Ashton Favorite Bands: The Early November, Death Cab For Cutie, Jimmy Eat World What's your Facebook/Twitter/Tumblr etc.?: www.twitter.com/ashtonautical http://futurekills.tumblr.com www.ashtonpopiel.com (photos) Hobbies (outside of record collecting): Photography, going to shows, going on day trips, trying new things. Random things you want us to know about you: I'm a photographer for Buzznet. I don't really know much about record collecting, I just love listening to music on my turntable. My collection is growing, however. I thought I'd join here to talk with like minded people about music.
  13. Ha thanks. Spent a lot of time (and $$$$) on all of my photography stuff. There is a guy up in Massachusetts who was trained at the Hasselblad factory, I just need to stop being lazy and contact him. I cringe at the cost though. I develop all my own b/w film. Once I buy a house I am going to turn a room or the garage into a darkroom. I want a 4x5 camera but waiting until I get a darkroom so I can handle it all easier. It is kinda sad how "cheap" the analog stuff has gotten. Cameras which were once the roll-royce are now economical. Also bums me out (no offense to anyone!) the quality of digital cameras (amount of plastic components and build quality) compared to the older cameras. For me nothing gets my heart racing like holding up my negatives toward the light and looking at each photo, one by one. Sounds dumb, but whatever. A lot of extra money and work but so so so worth it. It is a peaceful quiet place in my life, keeps me somewhat sane. Actually it had been since July that I ordered film, but just ordered $400 worth of film, glass bottles, and chemicals at B&H last week. Still buy a lot of chemicals locally to keep the last camera store in houston (one of the largest cities in the US!) open (that has analog and darkroom stuff) Ah, I dream of being able to have my own darkroom. That's great that you're developing your own film and all. I love shooting film. I have a Mamiya 645 AFD that I wish I could shoot more often. It's just gotten so expensive to develop since I don't have access to a lab anymore. If you're ever looking for darkroom stuff at cost, let me know. We've got a lot of it at my store.
  14. Ugh, such jealousy about your Leica (and the Rollei for that matter.)Bummer about your c/m though. Hope you can get it repaired for a relatively reasonable price. The cost of parts these days are crazy.
  15. I also shoot professionally with a BFA in photo. My 9-5 is at a camera shop. The Lumix G series are really nice cameras. If you're looking for something compact like that, you might want to take a look at the Olympus PEN series. They pioneered the micro four thirds cameras and they have a few more options as far as bodies, lenses, and accessories go. I like that most people here shoot Canon, haha. I shoot with a 5D MKII and mostly prime lenses with the exception of my 24-70mm f/2.8. This is my first post, too. Hi.
