    I've never really thought about any records as "white whales," but as of late I've been trying to track down Ben Howard's 2x7" Old Pine EP. I'm super bummed because I saw that his people must've found some hidden somewhere and had them for sale on his website last week, but they're sold out now.

    I'm fairly certain I haven't spent more than $75 on a record, which was Jimmy Eat World's Clarity on black. Original pressing.

    I'm A+. Though I have to admit, the only reason I know (and remember) is because I have a blood disorder. Lots of CBC's, IV's, and trips to outpatient before I was put in remission, so they had to keep on top of blood types. I feel useless now though, since I'm not allowed to donate blood or anything DNA-based. Hope you win, dude!

    That is awesome! I'm going to the Philly date. I happened to be on twitter right when they asked everyone what songs they should play I replied with "Alone For Now" not thinking they'd actually do it. This has got me super stoked now. Also, I second the merch question.

    I guess so. I never spent much time with that album, but from what I know of it, it didn't really jump out at me as a 'coming of age' type of record, but more of a last ditch effort for something a little different before the eventual hiatus. That thought process is in retrospect at this point, of course.

    Is anyone else getting the vibe that they're trying to cut ties with the image they had before the hiatus? Just with the song title, album title, and all the symbolism/references with fire and burning their old merch/records...?
