I was wondering that, too. I went ahead and ordered it because young turks only charges 10 bucks to ship to US. I like that. Sleep Sound has really grown on me, and I imagine his other single will be massive as well.

HOLY CRAP. ghostly is now sold out of the hand dipped vinyl. even more crazy, they sold out of the 5000 edition, too! I'm having a hard time believing it sold out that quickly.

nah, i knew exactly what i was doing. as I said, it's my favorite album. 400 dollars is totally worth it to having 001 of my favorite album. try to get any number of this edition for less than 200 dollars. do you have any 001s of any editions? any of your favorite album? if so, i'd be curious to know which ones you have. truth is, people don't sell 001 of any edition for the most part. so your belief that i got ripped of "really badly" is unwarranted, and you don't know what value I place on having 001 on MY favorite album.

Don't worry, I didn't take it like you were downplaying it. I just never knew that about 000. I actually bought it from a guy who bought over 30 of them when they came out (tisk tisk). He was about to sell me a copy and then realized it was the 1st copy, so then he jacked the price up and I still had to have it.

$400.00 on The XX self titled Sculpture of an Album edition. #001/500 How could I be so crazy to spend that much on that album? It's my favorite album, and I can't imagine there being a more sought after version of this album than 001/500. I never see the first of any edition available, not to mention my favorite album's 001.

I have the grey vinyl of recondite hinterland. it's an album that gets better by the listen. congrats on the great purchase. recondite's first album, on acid, is a top 10 of all time for me.

I'm going to be very sad if there is no limited edition. I will be checking ghostly daily waiting for it to happen if it does. I had to spend 80 dollars on Dive's 1000 limited edition version. I will not do that again! (I would totally do it again if I had to.)

Lineage is a great album. As you've said, it's hard to find them for sale. One just sold on ebay from the limited 150 edition for only 36 or so dollars! I have an unnumbered copy from a limited edition numbered 300 series that I bought off a man who worked above the Ghostly office a while back. I'll message you if I find a cheaper copy somewhere - i'm always looking for ghostly records on the internet. I actually just talked to the dude who sold the lineage 150 edition on ebay, and he said in the listing he had more that he would sell later. I might message him and ask the status on those, maybe he'd still one directly to you for a decent price.

ordered purple version, it will sell out soon. com truise's vinyl are always sold out quickly, especially colored limited. i have both versions of galactic melt, they are both beautiful. also, my friend is getting me cyanide sisters for christmas - that vinyl has a beautiful blue.

I believe one's collection should be only 10/10s. If a vinyl evolves into a 9, I sell it.

I know you'll post a rebuttal, but I don't give a crap. I'm sick of these threads with under priced shit being defended by some buyer who can't swallow his pride and move on. You think it's going to be so affordable forever? then you keep searching and find it no problem. Trying to determine vinyl trends on a 7" wont' get you far, either, again, you are just another one of those chumps who makes selling rare records a very annoying endeavor anymore. Hats off to YOU sir and good luck finding this 1 of 50 copy again, let alone for 300 dollars. Next time you sell your house or car, make sure to give someone a really good deal on it. You don't want to be one of those d-bags trying to get good value out of your assets. You can whine about the law of supply and demand all you want, but if you are getting this worked up about me wanting 300 dollars for a rare vinyl, and people who only want to spend 50 are not getting their chance to own it, you really need to get off your computer and go outside. Jesus Christ. For the record (no pun intended), I'm not getting back on this thread again. I couldn't care any less that a lot of you think this is overpriced. If anyone who is serious about buying this vinyl (aka 300 range), you can send me a message. If you don't want to spend much money on it, I don't blame you. That means you don't want it as much as some others in the world may want it. And when there are 50 copies, those other 50 people deserve to own it more. It's that simple. I just spent 200 on the Shelter/Nighttime 12 inch, and instead of knocking the seller for wanting to get money for his rare vinyl, I decided it was worth it. If I didn't want to spend a ridiculous amount, I would have "swallowed my pride and moved on."

I have this one, too. I close my eyes and pretend I pull the hand screen printed out to play. truth be told, i'll never play the other one.
