Galactic Melt was limited to 500 and sold out fairly quickly. The redux was released shortly after with a "limited time only" orange vinyl. now, you can buy the redux in only black. There is no difference. - Other than on the cover, the black and orange is inverted. Oh, and it went from 180 to standard weight.

I have also read Com Truise is fairly adamant that Fairlight nor Cyanide Sisters are to never be repressed again. I heard this from someone who personally knew Com Truise. Also, that guy who paid 100 for Fairlight was me. (the guy holding his baby boy in the thumbnail.) SMALL WORLD. I looked forever trying to get a good deal. Bottom line, I wanted it in my collection. At least the one I purchased was brand new.

i don't think that method of seeing how many are left is correct. they don't put all in the database at once. i've done the same method before, and ended up being wrong all three times. maybe im wrong, who knows.

this "album" is worth 28 dollars easily. it will be in my collection until I die, and then my son will take it over. totally worth it.

If I had to guess, he will release two variants of this release. 1. standard black - limited to 1000 $20.00 2. yellow - limited to 300 $22.00 that's my guess. the border on in decay is yellow, and giving what you said about his past releases, this could make sense. who knows though, maybe i'm crazy.

some people on this site have a major problem with supply and demand with records. if you can get 300 on a record, you should be getting 300 for that record. that's the way the world works. the economy is too bad to not try to get what you can for something. which copy of explosions - earth is not a cold dead place do you have? gatefold or the normal sleeve version?

I totally just went to that website you're using for picking the number and set up 1-50 and had it pick about 20 numbers, none of them being my number.... in hopes that it will increase the chances of my number being selected when you do it.

as awesome as some of these features are (I'm a major nerd so I really dig these gimmicky features), I just can't get myself to buy it. I'm just not a fan of his music. I don't care what anyone says though, this shit is neat.

He's not allowed to buy things for the reasons he wants to buy them? You're the problem of something completely unrelated to vinyl.

my side b had surface noise, but side a sounds pretty good, which is the side I was most concerned with.

I'm fairly certain they were sold out by the time I called them. Not 100 percent though. I never go to the one in legends but it was the first one I called that said they would put it on hold for 2 days. picked them up today to go on and watch the royals get dominated. at least the trip was worth it for the records. I would spin it tonight, but I think I'll wait til my son wakes up in the A.M. and we can listen to it together. I had to use GOO GONE to get the smaller hot topic sticker off the plastic sleeve, but I went ahead and left the bigger hot topic sticker on it. looks beautiful. no regrets, looking forward to buying ones that come out in the future. this will be a major step in my 2 and a half year old son's journey to record collecting.

i am going to a royals game tomorrow and I live about 2 hours from KC. i called HT in legends 25 minutes from the stadium and had them reserve lion king and little mermaid. buying them for "my son."

I've got Purple Haze and Peach Within and Without. Purple Haze is hard enough to come across. Peach is virtually impossible.
