this place is much better when there is a full section of college kids drinking. one of the best non-bar drinking moments ever is seeing a drunk guy win the rose from the knight instead of a little girl. that and the half a chicken.

i just picked this up from a german distributer and the back side is printed in spanish. Is this the proper 7inch cover?

nyc is tough to get something organized. i remember when queens had something going, and then it just "died". but i noticed it was a combo of idiots, abusive promoters/venue owners, and bands that just wanted to make some money. The good bands pretty much decided to either hit the bigger leagues or fizzle out as they felt it wasnt worth hauling huge gear to play infront of 10 people who didnt even want to be there. when my bros band played in 2003-4 it was tough getting shows where people LOVED the music. the Cocoa house was a good place. a free show for everyone to attend in a public high school lunchroom. but that is, for some reason, gone. Redzone is a joke charging people 10 bucks to see local bands when ive seen chuck ragan at the knitting factory for 8-9. so the value placed on the shows is fucked up making people spend more for local and surprise acts when well known acts are either the same price, or cheaper. makes people think twice what they do on their free time. and the kids fall into easy trends. even here in rome they have the typical gothic kid that buys the nightmare before christmas gear and spike chokers or the massive underground t-shirt shop with the wall of pins from "fat" bands(not dissing fat wreckcords but stating the popularity that they have with the younger generation) when ALOT of other diverse music just gets by. on a side note, ive yet to see how german shows are. ive heard AWESOME things about their shows and i hope im not hyping it up. so it is definitely a tough thing to look at and point the issues out.

paris is mega expensive. but its possible to see it in one day so youll be fine.

well im not sure how the rest of europe is, but in italy your guilty until proven innocent. maybe that might be a reason why its safer as nobody wants to deal with the 4 levels of police here.
