haha yeah that was me. The corn hairs were really cool except they kept getting in my face. I hope I didn't get too out of control during Shark Pants, I was totally euphoric at that point and just fucking ruling. What a great night. i never heard of shark pants until that night when i looked at the list. the name alone made me go a few bands early before panthro went on. The crowd going apeshit was awesome. tons of high fives and "HOLY SHIT IT'S SHARK PANTS" phrases.

I used to work with building zoning laws and see building permits get passed. It's no surprise the city/government would allow it to pass twice and then come in a year later to fix "any mistakes". Also it didn't help they had an overzealous neighbor keep calling in complaints.

Yeah, I shouldn't be so general. It has a decent stage and sound set up, and some decent video games. The personal pisses me off and for some reason it always seems really hard to breath in there. I was in there Saturday for Measure[sa] and Cheap Girls and I had to step out because it was hard to breath. i kept having dreams that the wall behind the bar was no longer there and people outside can see/hear the bands, drink some beers, eat some pizza, and have a breeze air that place out.

We were at that hotel! The days inn right? We had steak and shake two of the nights. ridiculous drunk food. yep the days inn!!! im just angry they didn't want to open the pool that weekend. i was hoping to get a pool party started filled with rum, tropic shirts, and pirate eye patches. maybe a parrot if it was going to survive the weekend.

the hotel i was at was close to there. lucky for us it was across the street from the Steak and Shake and a liquor store with 10 dollar bottles of admiral nelson.

its not fun to see that kind of stuff. In high school, me and my classmates saw a woman jump out a 15 story building from our class window. he hit the concrete and it cracked to the street. it seriously took the cops or anyone around to cover the body out of respect for the busy new york street, the kids around, and for the deceased herself.

yeah the methadones had less people than the bomb i think they need to bump up Young Livers, Lemuria, etc... to the venue and downgrade some of the others...hell if it was my band I sure as hell wouldn't want to play the venue.... the bomb and methadones were one of the underrated sets of the whole weekend. (along with many of the bands playing the side hatch that day) and i was at common grounds for lemuria till bridge and tunnel and in order to get in i had to miss D4. but the pizza was tasty and they had 16's of red stripe.

i was there for the menzingers trying to hold down the mic stand from being eaten by the crowd. they ripped tom's shirt and he threw up. then the human pyramids being formed during the Bangers and Calvinball on sunday at the venue side stage was crazy shit too. also i better see pics go up for the panthro reunion because i dont remember the face of the girl i was grinding with. those pics will help a lot with the drunken memory haha

the only thing there i didnt get sick of was that tree fungus. at least we know exactly where that has been.

i can supply a little drawing of a record being lifted off of a player. its not much and probably highly abstract, but anything based off of a rega player sounds ace to me.

it was probably those gypsy folks. they send out their kids to distract you and then the rest of them target your stuff.

in nyc, a gaslight show would turn out many people if the price is 10 bucks. opening bands aside, the jersey crowd will show up for the nyc shows making the show sell out faster.
