No etching on Three Cheers, only on TBP. I ordered both of these in December when the pre order went up. They both sound amazing by the way.

The Black Parade: Tried to focus on the etching too. It looks pretty cool.

I second that. What's funny about that is Last Gang had a contest on their Instagram about winning a copy of The Physical World on black and YAWIAM on pink (they even had a picture of both copies too). It made me wonder whether there were any pink copies other than that one that were left over from the 2012 repress.

I guess I should just buy a copy from MVD once the PO goes back up and hope for the best. I don't own a copy of this yet, and I just picked up the Back To Black reissue of S/T, so why not? That yellow does look pretty sweet though...

I've got an original US pressing of Pinkerton on Geffen, and it sounds pretty awesome. I haven't seen the MoFi copy around as much as I've seen Blue. I've been eyeing this deluxe set for a while now, cause those b-sides are pretty great. I hope MoFi releases Maladroit soon too. It's kind of strange how they skipped right over it and went from Green to Make Believe.

Found an original V2 7" of Folk Singer/Son Of A Welder by Brendan Benson (Raconteurs guy) and a Geffen 7" of Rag Doll/St. John by Aerosmith. 50 cents each, and both came in picture sleeves. Other than that, I haven't really gotten lucky. Most of the good rock records that I see in my Goodwill (The Who, Pink Floyd) have no records inside of them and it's pretty annoying.

Adjust your tracking and/or anti-skating. Anything under 1 gram is pretty lite. You should probably use some more weight, like a few guys above me mentioned.

PO'd the two MCR albums today. Came to about 67 bucks with tax and shipping. I pulled the trigger with Newbury because I've heard a lot of great stuff about their packaging/records arriving in perfect shape. Plus, the colors seem cool and TCFSW is gonna look good on opaque red.

Yeah, I had the same problem when I bought a new table. Your RCA connections could be bad, or it could be your receiver. When I had this problem, I got a new receiver (cause my old one was the problem) I got new RCA cables/speaker wire as well, and everything was fine after that. Hope I gave some insight as to what could be wrong.

I ordered from them about a year ago when the Reprise pressing of Kerplunk by Green Day was still available (got it for $10). Got a shipping confirmation, good service, and record arrived packed well with pretty good shipping. What problems are you having with them?

Hot Topic or Newbury.... the ultimate struggle. Also, does anybody know if the Black Parade will be issued with the CD cover (gray cover with soldier in middle) or alternate artwork to the original LP with the line of people marching? The picture on Newbury's page is the CD cover but I'm still not sure.

True that. I think "Wicked Annabella" is one of the coolest Dave Davies songs in the entire discography.I've got one of those Pye unofficial mono represses of Village Green. The copy I bought got damaged in the mail so this guy gave me another one for free. It sounds pretty good, to be honest... but sadly it doesn't have that awesome gatefold like Arthur does. So I'll probably buy the new repress to replace it.

It's seriously hard to choose. I'd have to say both of them are tied for me. They're both amazing albums. By the way, I added up prices for Kontroversy all the way through Arthur (which is probably what I'll buy), and it comes out to about $165 USD, which is $33 per record. That seems a little high but a few of these reissues are long overdue.
