Ben's right on the money. odds are these days any candidate is toeing the party line unless they've got a record otherwise -- which none of them do. canada's gotten at least as partian as the states has, i think. my riding is weird; the incumbent dropped out just after the vote was called, he had depression and was hooked on pills, evidently. the liberal candidate i'd LOVE to vote for as he's a really great guy i've worked with extensively when he was our chief of police. problem is that the tory replacement is at 43 per cent support and the NDP candidate is at 36, so there's a consensus building that everyone who wants to stop a tory from getting in again should coalesce behind the NDP guy. the ndp guy is boring as hell and i'm not sure if he'd be effective in any way. probably not.

i don't see anything overtly christian about these dudes. the album is really really good.

saw it yesterday and it was really good. of course, it reinforces my belief system so maybe i'm not the best judge. yeah, bill maher is kind of a dick and he shows it during most of the interviews, but it's very entertaining.

mercer is great. that's a little bit forced though.

I agree w/ J-Dog, make half speed 12"s. and do a 7" box set with the art from the screened CD's. that would fucking rule. count me in on the 45rpm 12er. and i could get behind a 7" box as well.
