My heart sank a bit when I read this. "...it is now some cruel April fools joke." I thought I got swindled there for a second, but realize you meant 'not'. Whew!
It's alright, it's okay, there's something to live for... Jesus told me so!

justin_ reacted to atarirec in The Promise Ring and Jets To Brazil reissues... 2015.
Spin posted a splendid article yesterday (the 23rd) with Tim Owen regarding the past, present, and future of Jade Tree.
http://www.spin.com/articles/jade-tree-records-tim-owen-interview/
...which includes this quote "We're going to reissue some of the bigger records, like Promise Ring and Jets to Brazil."
(I'm) Still hoping that Swiz vinyl reissue is happening...

justin_ got a reaction from wexzer in Show VC: I built a site for remembering the concerts you've been to.
Yeah, I can reverse the order of of the concert list (probably this weekend). Originally I liked it being in chronological order, but it probably makes more sense to have it newest first.
It looks like the semicolons don't work if the dropdown of suggested bands is open. As a work-around, if you hit escape, the dropdown will close, and then you can hit the semicolon and it'll work. I'll see if I can get a better fix.
Ignoring the 'the' might be a bigger challenge. I'll do some thinking on that.
Happy RSD tomorrow!

This bug is now fixed. No more weird half-band-names
Could work. I'll give it some thought.

Hi all. Long time lurker, recent poster
I thought I'd show off a new website I've been building! It's called SeenDB and is a site to help music fans remember all of the concerts they've been to. Maybe think of it like Discogs or Dead Format for concerts. You can share concert photos, your concert history, and it automatically finds setlists from the show. If that sounds cool, check it out at http://seendb.com. Here's an example of my concert history: http://seendb.com/justin-thiele. Happy New Year! EDIT: Thanks for signing up everybody! Post a link to your profile after you've added concerts.
