ST Splatter just arrived today (not bad shipping time to the UK considering New Years was in the way). Was sent in a nice card mailer but predictably was messed up around the edges. Definitely not worth the international postage price.

This is all making me damn nervous, especially considering I spent 70 bucks with postage (which I doubt they'll refund if it's damaged). Fingers very tightly crossed on this one.

Might not still be available - worth hitting them up though just in case. There's one built-in on the Denon player, but not on either of these.

You're right, the songs chosen for BB's soundtrack are exceptional. A personal favourite is this one (no spoilers): Unfortunately, with that said, I think this soundtrack just consists of original (instrumental) compositions for the show.

The biggest sin of this turntable is the lack of counterweight, although I'm pretty sure you can't replace the cartridge either. The semi-auto is nice to have but apart from that, I think it's probably about as good as an Ion or a Crosley. I'd avoid at all costs.

Got my "Mint Condition" AVA Love 1&2 smokey vinyl from a Discogs seller today. Unfortunately both gatefolds + the sleeve were pretty wrecked, yet the mailer was in A1 condition, so I suspect the record wasn't as mint as the seller made out, unfortunately. :[ But still, this is one of the records I most wanted to get my hands on since I started collecting, so I won't dwell on it for too long.

24th I think was the release date but it was announced way back with the picture disk - I'm just wondering why we haven't heard anything since. I've still got my fingers crossed for 'crystal meth blue' vinyl.

Man, I'd fight a bear with just my fists for a repress of Black Parade. Or pressings of AvA's We Don't Need to Whisper or I Empire, but that's wishful thinking.

Is there any news on the standard gatefold release? Is that actually happening?

Ok that's cool then, thanks. As for the shipping, my recent Mariachi El Bronx record from MusicToday came via UPS International Insured, which cost just under 20 bucks. I'm not complaining by any means, I just wish HT could source a cheaper international carrier, as I know for a fact that I for one would spend more money with them.

I don't know how these usually go, because it's my first HT purchase (and I might be different since I'm non-US) but my order is still in "Fullfilling" since yesterday. Is this normal? Also, for the record (pun not intended), $40+ for the shipping cost alone is insane. I've bought vinyl a-plenty from Discogs sellers in the US (including the 4 LP AVA record) and it's never come to above $15. I'd buy so many more records from HT if they would only lower their P&P prices.

Just dropped $70 with shipping to get this sent to the UK. Definitely the only album I'd ever consider paying double the RRP of the record just for the postage.
