Dallas has Good. That might be about it. I've never been to Bill's, but I imagine it's like Antone's in Austin; mostly old stuff. So many good ones in Austin. Sound on Sound on North Loop. Something on Airport by 35. Backspin maybe? Encore on Anderson. If you only go to one, go to Waterloo. It might not be the most punk rock place in Austin, but they have the best selection. We have Shiner. I don't like it. We also have Abita and Dixie, but Dixie isn't even brewed in Louisiana anymore so I'm sure they have it other places. Plus it kinda has a red wine aftertaste going on. I guess cajun food. Crawfish. Drive through daiquiri shops?

I dealt with this guy on ebay. He's backed.

Tonight should have been beer and boiled crawfish and/or watching a friend's band, but instead was a fight and an overpriced cajun restaurant that didn't have boiled crawfish. Tomorrow I'll be going to the mother-in-law's. That will be fun. We may do the art walk downtown when we get back and watch my hippy uncle play. Sunday will probably be a lot of sitting around.

I've heard the inner groove complaint on here before, so I would say pretty common. Something to do with the angle of the needle as it gets closer to the center. I've never really noticed it. A lot of people do say that black sounds better, but I haven't noticed this either. I don't think it has to do with thickness though because people also say that 180 gram does not sound better, just more durable.

One records to cd and one doesn't. Both crap. Edit: The ones in most stores.

If the catalog number changes, it's a different record. Okay maybe not, but that's how it should be.

I've been happy with the updates on my Copyrights and Druglords LPs. The fact that they sat in Fort Worth for a week is another story. I wonder how much media mail is for 4 LPs?

I'm not defending the USPS and this is beside the point, but there's a reason delivery confirmation is only 75 cents. It isn't actual tracking and you should be grateful for any update that you get.

I thought $15 was too much for the Alk3/OMA split on red. I'm pretty sure I remember Greatest Story being available on maroon. I saw The Bronx LP II at Waterloo, but that one doesn't go for that much. Same with FHTI, saw that one so many times at stores. Lately, my biggest regret has been The Marked Men - Fix My Brain. That one was available in Swami's store for a while.

I didn't think a song could be better than "Cobra Skullifornia". Plus I have a soft spot for "Don't Count Your Cobras Before They Hatch" since I'm a diabetic.
