I ordered the three cassette variants for The Obsessives - Manners, and four cassette variants for Runaway Brother - Bedhead, today.
I'll post an update when I get those in after the new year. That will give me every release and variant for NMR001-013.

Nooo no no, they are splatters.
Well played. That made me laugh this morning. Thank you.
-
Those look solid.
-
A bit pricey, but I have every release from this collaboration, so that's not going to stop me. I like that it comes with a download code for vocal and instrumental albums, makes the price a little easier to swallow.
-
It sounds like we need more variants and more reissues of the new cool hip thing, TAPES!
Basically!
I've limited a lot of my new purchases on vinyl because of the escalating prices. I understand the limited availability compared to the CD format plays a role, but in the example of the upcoming Coldplay album next month, a $17 difference between CD and record isn't justifiable to my bank account. I'm not a Coldplay fan, but that's the most recent example I've seen. I've also made a note to look up how the album was recorded and, if it's a remaster, what the source material is. I enjoy records for more than just the sound, but the music is always priority and when most new releases come with a digital download I'll typically go for the cheapest option.
-
It would be maybe cool if it was in a box set and had extras and was around $40 for all of them and a box. But $12 each nope.
Plus three variants each. Twelve total variants for four albums that are readily available on multiple formats for reasonable prices. I'm not one to judge anyone for how they spend their money, but business practices like this will likely drive a lot of people away from collecting, and likely spell a quicker demise in this particular trend.
-
I'll grab the standard press next paycheck. Thanks for the info, Justin.
-
That CD box-set sounds cool.
-
I wonder if they'll have US purchase and shipping options prior to RSD Black Friday, especially since their NYC location is now open.
-
Has it been confirmed all pressings are 2xLP, and those not listed as such are simply listed incorrectly?
-
The last two songs, Friends and Blood, are the standouts for me.
-
Just send an email to [email protected]. They just refunded mine.
Thank you.
I already received my refund.
-
Just canceled my order through them. Hopefully they have a quick turnaround. Going from $52 to $36 (with free shipping) is an excellent deal.
EDIT: They refunded the order pretty quickly, within less than an hour!
How did you cancel your order?

Beach Slang tape is available on Bandcamp.

Hey Blaine, just a head's up, my store will not be participating in this. You may be able to try Bullmoose like FutureKills suggested.
No worries, buddy. Thanks for the heads up. I'll give Bull Moose a shot.
-
I would imagine they would be eventually...
Pretty cool, each band with their name on the other's cover. Still don't have Ascension, probably grab one at the concert. Pretty excited these two bands are touring together. I drove from the midwest to Los Angeles just to see them play together (with Bayside) March of 2012 at the Musink Festival.
Are these available on tour, or only as part of the VIP package?
-
Haven't even heard this band yet but I need that pink variant in my life.
Still available.

Missed out on the /15 & /17
Sorry to hear that. The bundle and Royal Blue /15 were gone almost instantly.
-
Our next release is Vol. 2 from our "Fear Mint" Halloween Split Series featuring Anthony Jay Sanders / Cameron Boucher
Pre-orders are live Friday at 2pm EST.
This is up, and there are still two variant options left.
-
I received a shipping notification this morning, and I'm in California.
-
How many tapes does everyone have? I'm sitting at approximately 150.
I have 110, including 14 incoming.
-
Thanks folks. Looks like I have some exploring to do!! I wish there were a store I could go to in person that stocked all the options- it's so frustrating ordering online haha
Thanks for the extra link Blaine, I actually saw that topic a while ago and stupidly didn't act on the info!
I do find it kinda surprising that they haven't started putting picture discs in some other type of sleeve for release.
You bet, glad I could help.
I think picture discs are packaged in PVC sleeves because they are more rigid than a poly or mylar sleeve, and it allows the artwork to be displayed when on a store shelf. Picture discs are typically considered novelty records, too, often bought for collection purposes rather than with the intent to play them.

I mixed up Manners and Heck No, Nancy. I ordered the two Manners variants yesterday, and the three Heck No, Nancy variants the week before, like corey. said below.
Thanks again, man!
