theyre playing at the fun fun fest in austin, but i wouldnt want to fork over the amount for the day pass, plus i dont think bands sell merch at festivals like this (i could be wrong...).

My method for selling my books back was going to the bookstore at the beginning of the semester, seeing someone eyeing a book i had, and then going to them and selling it cheaper that the used price the store was offering. Usually it worked.

Same here. But 9/11 happened and the idea for the movie got shelved. That's shitty. I heard the director of I am Legend was trying to get the film made. Haunted would be great as a movie too, but they would have to cut out wayyyy too much.

am i the only one that thought the book was okay, but not great? I feel like i'm in a league of my own. I wish survivor was made into a movie though. That's my favorite Palahniuk book so far.

I'm pretty sure this is it. I had ordered a couple of records through their website around february, records they claimed that were instock, only to find out a month later that they were on backorder, and then, not available.

so you basically stay near campus... that's a good area, because it's not too far of a walk if you decide to walk or take a cab (which is next to impossible at that time) the showlist is awesome too... yeah for the most part i walk it, but it gets pretty tiring walking early in the morning and walking back at 1 or 2 in the morning carrying a bunch of free shit 6 days in a row. Good exercise though.

usually for sxsw all i see are free shows. there's a website called showlistaustin, and they do their best to list all the free shows all throughout the week, regardless of genre. The past two years ive gone, ive seen all the bands i wanted to see for free. Just a matter of timing everything out during the week. On sidenote, it would be sweet to have a hotel downtown during sxsw. I usually stay at my friends place around 23rd street, when all the action is on 6th =/

the hastings near me started carrying vinyl too. The selection though isnt that great, so i have to special order stuff. but on the plus side every friday they have 20% off vinyl.

+ Cracked open a used copy of fight club that i bought for seven bucks only to find out that it's signed by chuck palahniuk! + played volleyball (extremely fun) with my friends - a group of guys asked to play us, and made us look like complete amateurs + the way they played taught me a few things about my game overall, very nice day.

best buy carries vinyl now?

never seen it, but I've heard a lot of good things about this show. I rented the first disc of season one, but was bummed to find out that it was scratched to the point of not being viewable =/

For me, it seems like one is really awesome and the other is dull due to the awesomeness of the funny one (weird sentence). Like tonight the only thing funny about the second episode was Mac's tapes of being a badass. but still, this show is one of the funniest on television.

The truth is that we have never reported to soundscan, but our friends at side one asked for our vinyl sales' numbers as they report their sales to soundscan through their mailorder. And our conversations with soundscan got me to thinking why don't we offer soundscan numbers and at the end of the day, we decided to see what it would take. Just this morning we received our account number and in about a week and a half, we will be reporting sales to soundscan. That's very cool for the people you rep. I never knew that's how it worked. awesome.

Where did you buy that from?
