$30 was a little on the steep end for me, but I took the plunge anyways. I have a few of the hand-thrown Flaming Lips records and they look amazing.

I'm really curious about the "Punk" Surfer Blood album. I think "Pythons" with a little more grit would be a neat listen.

Now that it seems like the bullshit for this may be clearing up (?) I may keep an eye on this.

And therein lies the problem with all of these Newbury Comic releases. They take readily-available cheap records, make them a shiny color, and sell 'em for twice the price.

I was able to snag one of these when it first came out. It's a beautiful looking record! Plays at 45 RPM, too.

I'm always kinda bummed out by the Newbury exclusive releases. They're always a commonly available LP that's usually relatively inexpensive. I'll pass on this.
