I purchased the album online before the info was released about this boxset. That's kind of annoying.

Must have been at least 1500 copies printed.... What bugs me about this is the two release dates. Once for RSD and once for the online Cake fan base. If they were holding back so many copies for the later date why not release it the day of or the day after RSD? Why wait so long? If you ask me that's what went wrong here.... too much time btwn release dates.

I sent an email this morning (in reply to the first one from a couple days ago) after the post this morning that said it was up at 7:36. The msg i sent said that i hadn't rec'd the email with the link to the boxset but i heard that it was up and could they please email me the link. I rec'd a reply a few mins ago with the link

I have received nothing as well I joined the mailing list a couple weeks ago and received all the confirmation emails, then rec'd the email earlier this week that another email would be sent "soon" but nothing yet.....

i'm doubting they'll ship it to me in Canada....

everytime i see the "new email" icon on my phone i cross my fingers and open it..... but it hasn't come yet.

those 150 copies that were available online are now all gone. I bought it this morning and when I sent a msg to a friend about it a few hours later they were all gone.

thats not so bad. about 7.70CAD. Id pay that....maybe

what was the price of this in the US? In Canada i saw it for $11.99 and didn't buy it. I just can not bring myself to pay that much for a 45, especially for just one song that i want.... RSD or not $12 is ridiculous.

This was $200.00 Canadian at my local shop on Saturday. They rec'd 5 copies and only had one available on Saturday morning?!?!?!?! It was snagged by the guy in front of me in line before i could see it. Was disappointed to miss out on that. How will the Mail-order thing work? not old-school snail mail i hope. I signed up for the mailing list and am just waiting for the further email.

I would do almost anything to get my hands on a copy of this at a reasonable price. But i see it already listed on ebay for well over $400

I got in on this just before leaving work. I have a taped copy from a friend, and to pick the vinyl up now when i have the means is great.

the book was a good read. I enjoyed it and passed it on to a friend, who enjoyed it and passed it on as well.... by the time i get it back i`ll read it again When i read it the first time i kept going to my ipod to play the songs he was talking about in the book.... it added a lot to the reading.
