Clear version back in stock if anyone wants it. No returns because of the quality issues though.

Pretty sure billboard said it will be 10,000 copies, so similar to the clear Carrie and Lowell. Should be easy enough to get if you visit your local or watch the usual websites within a day or 2 of RSD
Great news! Should be easy to get then.

Hmm. I want that Sufjan 10" but it will probably be one of the most desired releases so I don't know if I'll be able to get it. Hopefully it's like 5000 copies or something.
-
Yeah, my order from amazon was also unsealed
-
Some people on the Steve Hoffman Forums were saying that the main pressing of IA had noise and distortion problems and were thinking that the test pressing was a compensation for it... dunno how plausible that is.
-
Yeah I finally caved and ordered a bundle too
-
Looks like I missed out on the 7 inches. Bummer.
-
So if I ordered the bundle today there's zero chance I would get an extra Isn't Anything right?
-
Apparently glow in the dark vinyl always sounds like garbage so I'll pass on this.
-
around 12 euros
-
Literally 0% chance any of the Smiths boxes go through because sellers have to finalize the orders, but we'll see...
-
Would you feel comfortable ordering multiple records from Walmart.com? Might cancel my Amazon orders and order from them since they have the records I want in stock plus I can get a 20% discount.
-
Just my two cents. If I really really wanted this record but I was in the same situation as you guys, I would just wait. Yeah, you might not get your record for months or even a year (lol), but it beats paying $100 to a flipper. I do not have much experience with Bandcamp, so feel free to enlighten me, but if this turned out to be a scam of some sort, I don't think they would let the label screw hundreds (or thousands) of people out of a record even if the Paypal claim date has passed. Anyone know if Bandcamp has ever stepped in before?
-
It is a shady move though. It doesn't cost $40 to ship two records overseas. Possibly if these were registered or expedited, but it looks like they aren't.
-
Looks like the good deal on this is back in stock at Amazon UK. $45 shipped to US.

Kinda wish Blade Runner was colored like almost all the other SYEOR releases.

What ever happened to that Agaetis Byrjun vinyl box set?

I don't know if anyone has posted this place yet, but most of the sale prices are around the $11.99-12.99 range. Pretty wide variance in music genres.
Was going to snag some of those Sonic Youth albums but shipping is like $6 per record which basically makes them the same price as Amazon.

Yeah it sucks that Out of Time gets a deluxe vinyl, but not this. Hopefully this reissue matches the quality of that German one that was in print up until a couple years ago. Apparently the Out of Time reissue was not great.

Do these have actual Christmas/Holiday music on them or were they fan club style singles they put out in December as a "gift" to the fans?
AFAIK there's only one actual song out of all of these, and it's not great. Everything else is just lame fan club banter that I think even the most die-hard Beatles fans would struggle to enjoy.
I'd consider picking this up at $20-$30, but $70 is way too much IMO.

Wish they would just do a proper good sounding reissue of #1 record. The Classic records one is OOP and originals are a fortune
The Stax/Concord/Ardent release that is in print now uses the same stampers as the Classic Records one according to the Steve Hoffman Forums.

Best record shopping day of my life was when I went to a local store and got near mint original pressings of Closing Time, The Heart of Saturday Night, Heartattack and Vine, Swordfishtrombones, Frank's Wild Years, and Rain Dogs for $15 a piece. This store is generally awful with pricing so I was amazed. I went there a month later and they had a copy of Rain Dogs on their expensive wall for $80 so I don't know what was up with that.

Was reeeeeally hoping Orphans would be there
edit: it's coming next year!
