I remember reading complaints about the Capitol Kid A side 3 having a static sounding issue or something. Was that ever fixed and is it present on the new issues?

Looking on Discogs, all of the releases of X&Y on vinyl were mastered at Sterling sound. The 2016 thing could just be a reference to the newer pressings under Parlophone/Atlantic since those have replaced the Capitol Vaults versions.
FWIW, my Parlophone copy that I got off Amazon UK a couple years ago is flat and dead quiet.

I tried with the white sleeves on and the lil scamps won't fit properly whichever way I try, but I am worried they may get damaged over time against the cardboard?

There's no way I'm putting my records into those rough inner sleeves found in the book.
This is overprotective, but I kept the outer plastic bag and just put the records in the white sleeves outside of the box.

Really only wanted the Modest Mouse EPs but $2 a record was too hard to pass up. They were all marked $9.99 in the sale section.

So I was looking up information on a Reinhold Messner reissue, and I stumbled across this: http://analogspark.com/blogs/news/16673777-welcome-to-analog-spark
They had listed a Reinhold Messner reissue under their future releases, so I contacted them yesterday and asked them when it would be coming out, and they said it should be out sometime this fall!

Sounds like it will be easy to get which is great but I'm not crazy about the color they chose.

It's cool that they're doing these. I've stopped buying vinyl for awhile though so I don't think I'll pick these up anytime soon since paying $40 for one LP seems absurd to me right now.
I'd be concerned about Figure 8 being on one disc. All of the previous issues of that album were on 2LPs and it's not a short album.

Between the Beck and Elliott Smith releases it looks like Bong Load is reissuing some of the albums they previously had? Or they could be boots? I didn't even know Bong Load still existed.
