I thought it was pretty decent. I thought Crowe was kind of bland, but DiCaprio was excellent.

I think they look good. I just bought my first Mac a few months ago and absolutely love it. However, lack of a firewire port of the new Macbooks seems like it would turn off a lot of people. As I understand it, you have to move up to the new Macbook Pro to get firewire.

I'm using a mixer as my pre amp, and was wondering if anyone could help me with the settings. It has sliders for the left and right channels with the following: 60Hz 150Hz 400Hz 1K 2.4K 6K 15K Each of these sliders can be set anywhere between -12dB and +12dB. I've had them all set in the middle, but I'm sure this is not the optimal setting. Any help appreciated. Alamo Drafthouse is great, but I hear the one in Austin kicks the shit out the one here in Houston. It's still great though. At the "normal" theater here though, there is a restaurant built in that for $40 + tax and tip will get you an appetizer, 2 entrees, and a dessert, plus 2 tickets to a movie. Granted, it's not gourmet, but for the price it's not bad at all. Hell of a lot better than $20 for popcorn and drinks.

let me ask this though. Is there is cheaper alternative that would allow me to connect my external hard drives to my current router (linksys G) that would allow me to access it from my computer (obviously) as well as stream media files to my xbox? I know I'd be giving up the wireless N, but I'd consider this if the price was right.

I don't do a lot of data transfer. I just think it would be nice to have the ability to do wireless back ups, and be able to connect all my other external drives to the time capsule (via USB hub) and get all the clutter away from my computer desk.

is the daily performance that much better? Are there any glaring bugs since it's still in the Draft stage? Thinking of getting the Apple Time Capsule and using the enabler software that would "upgrade" my G to an N.

Wow, I had no idea that Tim was re-issued on vinyl. For some strange reason I thought it was just on CD. Oh well, I got my copy for a good price. (less than $25 after shipping on ebay). Was/is Let It Be going to be re-issued?

I saw him a few years ago. He was funny, but like others said, the show didn't last that long. He did a Q&A afterwards that was pretty ammusing.

My wife and I are fine. No damage to our apt. complex really. Got water back about 2 days ago. Still waiting on power. Thank God for this cool front. Glad to hear most everyone is fine.

Still no power.

Long night. Completely lost power around 2:00am. By looking out my windows, it appears my complex has little or no damage, so that's good. Last I heard, there was 4.5 million without power. Restataunt in midtown burned (Brennans). Wind has died down significantly over the last hour and a half, but still raining.

Getting some significant wind gusts, but I've still got power (knock on wood). The news is saying that 315,000 people are without power already.
