About the only good thing about living here and being a hockey fan is its hockey season all year round. AIHL starts up just as the NHL finishes. Then finishes just as the NHL starts again. Having said that, id swap 4 months of AIHL for 8 months of NHL any day.

I'm pretty sure they only wrote 9 of the tracks on The Gold Record. For some reason that doesn't sit too well for me. It makes me think they don't have the ability to write an albums worth of good songs anymore. It has some good songs, but too many mediocre songs on it. The second half of Anchors Aweigh has some brilliant songs. They're not the typical happy, upbeat kind of stuff they had done before, but some really well penned lyrics i thought. Definitely some stuff that i can relate to. Don't get me wrong, i love this band, but i just think their best is long gone.

probably have it ready for their australian tour. which im going to miss. pretty pissed, but pumped to be going overseas. bouncing souls have been on a quick decline since anchors aweigh. their last tour here was somewhat dissapointing, but that may have been because the two tours before it were fuckin brilliant and set the standard really high for me.

i dont know much about anyones squad. i saw in the paper just about every aussie player is 30+. wheres the youth and speed and excitement?

i know very little about soccer. but from what ive seen and heard, heres my little rant. look at the tackle. stops facing downward, pulls out half way through when he realises he cant get the ball, and just manages to clip him with his knee. if 9/10 times thats a red, that game has problems. the ref should be sent home from the tournament. so because of a slight clip with his knee, where the guy wasnt injured, aussies go down a man and cahill out of the next game. would be good if the players wouldnt roll around like babies when they break a nail. would love to see some men out just there just grow a pair and stand up after a tackle. beautiful game soccer. give me a fuckin break. can someone red card our coach? hes a joke. starts the game with no striker? dude isnt even trying. already confirmed hes quitting after the world cup. taking his cash and running. we will lose every game because of this bloke. and i reckon we must have the oldest team out there. not giving any of our young guys a go. didnt even take scott macdonald. i wish the germans would have beaten us by more so verbeek gets sacked mid tournament. and fuck those vuvuzelas. makes the games so hard to watch. i wish i could get the commentary on subtitles.

Agreed. But he isn't just asking. He's bitching and moaning about it, talking shit on Virgil and his label and being a bit dramatic about the whole thing. If I were Virgil, I probably would be ignoring him too. I'd be much more likely to respond to someone who wasn't obviously such a huge asshole. The only shit talking on Virgil and his label ive done is just call him lazy really. Whoop di doo. How many times does he need to be asked politely? Im not the only one he has been ignoring. Im hardly bitching and moaning as far as im aware. Being a smartass i wouldn't argue with. Im just voicing my concerns on here so more people are aware of what's going on so it isn't ignored as easily. Like you said, it will either come out or a refund will be given, but so far neither of those is happening. I don't like handing my hard earned money, no matter how much it is, over to someone who is just going to use it for something other than its intended purposes.
