I ordered mine yesterday and it came out to $48 shipped. Now they just need to press his other two albums! Also a repress of his soundtracks wouldn’t hurt either.

If you want to save some $$$, I ordered through the proxy service Buyee (mostly due to not being able to checkout via the Tower Records garbage site), and the total shipped came to $42.  It's more hoops to jump through but I think it worked.

You think you're angry at me, but you're angry at your own ignorance. Reality keeps proving my point.

Oh good, a jilted philosophy major.  No, I'm angry with you, because you are a dick.  I know you're a dick because instead of a) trying to be genuinely helpful or b) ignoring a post that you feel negatively towards, you have a gutshot response to be a passive-aggressive keyboard warrior.   People with that mentality are the reason that forums like this and reddit gradually transition to being shitholes over time.

I think asking about Bullmoose is a pretty LARGE indicator that I'm talking about the US, also.

You've been able to on PledgeMusic for a while. And the release dates are everything. Like, it's how it works. Once you're aware of them, you develop an informed/reasonable expectation for when to look for the preorder windows. Smh

Jesus dude I get that you're incredibly bitter that I've clogged up your precious post with requests for information, but if you read my posts you'd probably see that I am asking about US preorders; not about paying $15 for shipping from the UK.  Bullmoose had the 3EPs preorder immediately when announced, not in October, so I think it's perfectly reasonable to ask if anyone knows if they or someone else have a link to a US preorder.   Thanks for being a dick though, that's always a nice touch in community forums.

Actually, I probably like most colored vinyl more than I like that song. I didn't care for the crazy mashing up of blue, red and yellow that the first US variant was made of but I think I like that color more than this song for example. I think I dislike multicolor splatters the most of all colored vinyl.

I don't even like High on Fire that much (more genre preference than any dig against the band), but that splatter was one of the most beautiful vinyl variants I have ever seen.  Who couldn't love this?

Just got a cancellation notice from UO :(

Same.  It sucks but I'm not terribly bummed about it; it just shows they drastically underestimated demand.  I ordered and was confirmed WELL before it actually "sold out" per the website, so this must have been quite limited (maybe 1k?) .

I have a strong feeling that this will either be quickly repressed by UO, or is already being pressed by other retailers.

Does your copy have clipping at high levels though? I have copies of both and, while distortion isn't a problem, some songs sound pretty smashed at higher decibels (especially on memoro de la stono.)

Yes, I get some clips on some of the vocals.  It's infrequent but annoying.

  7. FYI, after three returns for terrible-sounding off-center pressings, I finally landed a copy of Distant Worlds 2 that doesn't have pitch-bending.  It sounds pretty good.  A unicorn, but thought it might be useful for people to know they are out there.  Must have just been luck of the draw at the pressing plant.
