I just received a shipping notice as well.,seems strange they'd print the shipping label and wait 2 months to send it. Probably shipping them early? Fingers crossed.

Can't wait fir the Blue Note Classic Series this year! Already received:
McCoy Tyner The Real McCoy
Wayne Shorter Speak No Evil
The Horace Silver Quintet Song For My Father
Cannonball Adderley Somethin Else
(missed the Lee Morgan The Sidewinder)
Really can't wait for:
Hank Mobely Soul Station
Art Blakely and the Messengers Moanin'
Dexter Gordon Go!
Kenny Burrell Midnight Blue(possibly my all time favorite jazz)
Anyways, what other BNCS are you all waiting for?
The Mobley and Blakey are up for preorder on Amazon right now. April 9 release date. Everything seems to be delayed a month. Also, these Classics are really popular. They are all selling out quickly. The Sidewinder is being repressed with a June 30th release date. I'll be buying almost all of them, many to replace the shitty BN75 pressings I have.

The Clear/White variant, the one I’m thinking people got when there was the mix up from the first splatter pressing, seems to be the retail and available some places.

It's not retail, TTL is just selling the misprint. They probably have 25 copies, opened one, photographed it, and thought they were all clear.

Thank you very much that answer me. I was thinking the same but some people on the net try to convince you for the opposite.
Yeah, compare the matrix info from the deadwax listed on discogs. I listened to my black reissue of Master of Puppets today, and it was a Bellman mastering pressed at Pallas. Identical to the new red pressing I believe.

Did anyone compare them with the "Blackened" previous remasters series of 2016-2018? I believe they must sound the same because the same person "Chris Bellman" cut and the previous remasters too. If anyone has compare them, please leave a message.
They are probably the exact same stamper/plates between the 2016-2018 remasters and these new color represses. Doubt they re-did the whole remaster process a few years later for Wal-Mart color presses.

Same here. Although I received the "Black" album with a damaged sleeve (already refunded), but they added an extra Kill em' All with a damaged sleeve in the same mailer!? So now I have 2 red Kill em' Alls🤣
Thought that was kinda funny...
Any chance you'll part with that extra damaged Kill em All for cheap? It's the only one of their first 4 albums I'm missing. Thanks!

Yeah, article says Furnace presses all thr Metallica albums. And there was a Hetfield interview, which I cannot find, where he talks about owning his own vinyl presses.

Any real info on these? Same mastering as the recent release? Where were they pressed?
I want to say that Metallica owns all their music rights now, own their own vinyl presses, and everything is produced at the Furnace Record Plant in,Virginia.

My copy has a bunch of weird crud pressed into it. Little yellow flakes and other debri that form these little pimples/bumps on the vinyl. And it has two nasty edge warps. It plays, but it's a shit pressing. Wondering what plant,it came out of.
Also, yeah no padding or cardboard inserts in the mailer. Just the record. I lucked out with only minor creases, but there wasn't a lot of care put into packing these up.

My Whirr records arrived. Haven't spun them yet, but they look very warped unfortunately.

My Feels Like You redux has some pops and crackles, my 1st press sounds much better but it could just be me
My first pressing sounds like muddy garbage and is moderately warped. Bought the redux hoping for an improvement but,not terribly confident after these posts.

I have now received 3 tracking numbers for my Whirr order. 2 are actively moving. I ordered the bundle. Is the bundle shipping all together in a single mailer?

I dunno, I have a feeling they want it sent to their new warehouse/studio because they want to actually get to handle & look at the various variants that get made. Like, the Poly project was a fun idea but then they probably got to see a very small number of the actual variants that were made, and this is a way of approaching that. Just one interpretation though.
Needlejuice is having the live stuff remastered for vinyl, so hopefully it sounds good.
Needle Juice is also pressing all but one live show on 2xLPs. One side on Brussels will be over 26 minutes long, and one side on Paris comes in at over 27 minutes. Only way to achieve those numbers is with compression.

Probably one of the retail variants that will be announced. I've seen it listed on Juno.co.uk as coming soon.
I see. Thanks. That is not what I ordered from them though.

Just received my 1st pressing copy of the Chromatics Faded Now. It was supposed to be on white/red splatter, but I received a heavyweight clear record. Which is weird. Maybe a plant error. Shows as sold out online and no mention of a repress. It does sound incredible though!

So $250 retail?
$100-$125.
The MOFI is great and all, I own it, and did have the Supervinyl clear MoFI pressing as well, but the bass is a tad bloated on it. And my copies were a bit noisy at times. I think the AP UHQR will probably sound the best.

Ha ha. Yeah, I have 5 copies right now. I really like the MOV 2xLP pressing. Even though it's not straight AAA, it's 24b-96k, it does sound wonderful.

Which part?
I bought the bundle and then a 2nd distressor copy. Says the bundle shipped, but no mention of the individual Distressor album.

Acoustics Sounds is doing their UHQV version of Kind of Blue in 2021, I've read.
Her OST (Arcade Fire & Owen Pallet)

My Mondo copy of Her is pretty heavy on the surface noise. Constant light surface noise. I've wet cleaned the thing twice now, and no improvement. Also kinda warped and a big fat seam split across the top of the jacket. The record is pretty though. ha ha.
How does everyone's copies sound? Do you have surface noise as well?
