If the warp is pretty bad, the needle will be moving at different angles, so it'll pick up different things. It will also be moving at different speeds on up slopes and down slopes on the warp. Sounds like it may be a pretty severe warp if you're getting that much pitch change. Some records also just get distorted further in because of the angle of the needle in the groove closer to the middle. Without looking at it no one will be able to tell you definitively whether it's the record or your player.

I can't get UPS packages at my apartment, so I spent a half hour on the phone berating the best buy customer service into letting me have it held at the distro center. I'll never order from/go to a Best Buy again. They fucking suckkkkkk. Gross! I hate that shit. I'm sure I won't get my Knapsack stuff until next week. It's been 7 days so far, but it's coming from Australia. I bet the eBay guy with my Sabbath didn't ship it out when he said he did too.

Yikes! I posted my list the other day, but I got my Salem's Pot album and my Appleseed Cast in today. Was expecting Black Sabbath - Master of Reality and full of optimism for Ancient Warlocks, although that'll probably be here next week. Really expected my Knapsack stuff today though!

If it has a sever warp and distortion it's pretty much worthless. If it was in other places, not just the last track I'd say you need a new belt on your TT, as is, I'd say your TT isn't tracking quite right dues to the warp. (I'd guess it isn't as good as you imagine on the other tracks either if it is that severely warped.) I'd return it if I were you, if they'll allow it.

UGHHHHHHH. I was expecting more of my stuff to come in the mail today! Just my stupid Best Buy order arrived. Stoked to listen to those records tomorrow though.

Exactly this. I'm glad it didn't turn out to be some crazy drug thing and that you're alive Rambo. BUT What, they didn't have tacos de cabeza? Those things are nuts to the butts.

Let me check when I get home. I may actually have two copies of it. I remember I saw it at an estate sale and some yahoo wanted $20 for it and I was like...passssss! Then I went to Goodwill and found 2 copies for 3 bucks, but I may have only gotten one, but I remember then a week later I found another copy at Salvation army. It was stupid. Similar thing happened when I discovered Harry Nilsson.

I don't know if I could rank top 10 albums ever...and if I did, it would be just DOMINATED by Sabbath stuff.

Yeah. I feel that way about a couple bands too.

I don't think I've listened to a single one of them...but I've picked up Led Zep II, III, IV, Houses of the Holy, In Through the Out Door, and Physical Graffiti for $3 or less each through the years. I don't know if any of them other than Houses of the Holy are even worth anything more than what I paid.

If they come out with a decent flash cart for 3DS i'll get one, otherwise I'll settle for playing SNES roms and backup games on my regular DS. I really hope that happens soon though.

The other thing I consider getting rid of pretty often is my Led Zeppelin stuff, they're another band kind of like Black Sabbath (except I don't like them nearly as much) where I've just gotten good deals on their albums over the years and see like people might want them.

On the sales board. It's just a Green Day - Live in Italy '93 boot and a 10,000 hours 7" repress from '91. I've got some other stuff I'll put up this weekend. Isis - Wavering Radiant might be one of them. I'll want a decent bit for it though, and Pelican - City of Echoes probably too. That AFI went in the blink thread though, I mentioned it and some dude PMed me about it.

I just stopped paying attention to them post-Three Cheers. They got too...mall-gothy(?) for me. Or I just outgrew them. Who knows.

Yeesh. I put up some stuff for $45 ppd combined, which is lower than discogs and I put to send offers too. Cuz...you know, I'd take a little less even. Get it together people. Plus I just sold my AFI - Sing the Sorrow for $45 ppd. That's a good deal, right?
