Earth - Bees Made Honey (Red) and Hex (White) Om- Pilgrimage (This and the Earth records should be coming in this week.) and Om - Variations on a Theme (the shipment came yesterday but was the wrong record, so I'm running over to Holy Mountain to exchange it. John over there is super awesome...Didn't realize he was less than a mile from me or I would have just offered to pick it up in the first place.)

As much as seeing new Sleep stuff is sweet, and I'm legitimately excited for it!...I hope this means that Holy Mountain might get a reissue soon too. Probably not though. Also...Fucking Adult Swim. It seems like I should just buy a Holy Mountain pressing right now (if I can find one) so it doesn't skyrocket in price when a bunch of new people get into them. The whole Adult Swim thing just leaves a bad taste in my mouth because they did the same shit with Mastodon, and that album, The Hunter, (in my opinion) blew.

It's weird. It seems like it's more common in Portland than other places to find weirdly good deals. I found my copy of The Ugly Organ for $3 about 6 months ago. It was in the "discount punk and modern" bin at my favorite record joint.

That's a super bummer. I sometimes forget about drinking age being lower in Canada, even though I used to take advantage of it when I lived in upstate New York.

Love Bastion, watched the trailer for Transistor...beautiful. Their visual style is incredible, but it's the soundtracks that make those games.

At this point I actually try to avoid most IPAs just because they're just not my favorite. Not all of them are too hoppy though, and some of it depends on the weather too; if it's really hot out a nice hoppy pale ale isn't too bad. I seem to remember Saranac being pretty hoppy, some of the Lagunitas ones are a little much for me most of the time, but I do enjoy them occasionally. Double Mountain has some that are a little much for me too aaaaand...I think they went out of business, but Amnesia had some that were over the line for me. People seem to be obsessed with IPA anymore though, that's most of what I'm referring to.

I don't think anyone is trying to argue with you there. I'm not into all the little extras either. Just saying that this is a 4xlp, and if you're into that extra stuff, it's a pretty decent deal. At least better than a 2xlp from MOV for $50, or the new 2xlp Mastodon special edition for $70 or whatever that ridiculous price was.
