What if ETR spoke with the manager and the manager said he would talk to the band about it, but gave the ok.

Then, he forgot to talk to the band about it, but when asked by ETR said, "Yeah, totally. I talked to them about it."

When asked by the band about this, the manager, to save his own ass says, "Never heard of the guy. He's a liar."

They're going to do...nothing? What, did you think they were going to: 

 

1) make an entirely new plate

2) press 2,700 new records

3) go through their receipts and find everyone who bought one of these, and

4) offer them all new copies?

 

Or did you think they'd just refund everyone 19.99 for each record?

It was being released. If we knew about this last year then we completely forgot about it or (obviously) never followed up. But this isn't something you just forget about. Again, it was flattering to see it out.

Dude you jump to crazy conclusions. I was first off saying is it that hard to believe JetBoy knows someone at 6131 or maybe even No Sleep? Why you think that is some ridiculous idea I don't know and I don't know why you immediately thought oh ok they are going to just steal these records and ship them. All I'm saying.

 

Maybe read the rest of the thread... I jumped to no conclusions. (the stealing records part was sarcasm)
